Good Mexican. Been going to Pepe's for many years. Loved the one on 47th Street in Chicago years ago. I liked hanging out with the guys out front in our cars.

Dine in Let me pre-empt this post that we have frequent this restaurant several times in the past. After waiting approximately 30 minutes before the manager/waiter Rey H came to finally take our order by that point we to decided to leave without eating He had taken an order of another table and they received their food before he came back our table and asked if we were ready to order. Totally inattentive to us. We told him how upset we were and he demanded that we leave. We did and on the way out he asked my age. Which is 64 and then called me a dumb broad. Witnessed by another employee! I have NEVER been treated so poorly at a restaurant. FYI I am in the service industry myself and would FIRE anyone that would treat a patron like that.

MAKE SURE PEPE'S PUTS YOUR MEALS IN MULTPLE BAGS. THEY WILL GIVE YOU 1 BAG FOR OVER 3 MEALS AND MULTPLE SIDES. WHEN YOU GET OUT OF YOUR CAR THE BAG WILL FALL APART IN YOUR DRIVEWAY AND THIS PEPE'S IN HOMER GLEN OFF BELL ROAD WILL NOT BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS. WHO PUTS MULTIPLE MEALS AND SIDES IN 1 BAG? AND EXPECT THERE TO BE NO ISSUES? THEIR RESPONSE "IT IS NOT OUR RESPONSIBLITY WHEN FOOD LEAVES OUR RESTAURANT." I COULD ONLY IMAGINE HOW BAD THIS BUSINESS IS GOING DOWN SINCE THEY ARE BEING SO SCARCE WITH THE BAGS AND IT WAS DEAD IN THERE. Wish a ZERO STARS WAS AVAILABLE. HAD been a loyal customer of Pepe's Tinley Park (and now Homer Glen) for close to 50 years. NO MORE. TIRED of having extra dinners AND extra alcoholic beverages added to my check LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE VISIT! ALSO, they somehow add over TEN DOLLARS to a lunch combo EVERY TIME and act like it's never happened before. Sad to say I will miss the food, but driving to Chicago, Hammond, Joliet or Lisle is much better than having to check every single check that has been overcharged now for over a year!! I GET that the economy is so tanked but this is the only restaurant that sticks it to you EVERY TIME and I finally learned there is REALLY something amiss going on! I hope I spare other families wasting their hard-earned money. IF YOU ARE THERE NOW, LOOK AT YOUR CHECK AND COMPARE IT TO THE MENU! They are really corrupt!

Echoing others where the service is fast in the beginning. Once food comes service frequency tapers off. Food imo is also overly salty, even for Mexican food. There are better Pepes out there.
Had lunch there recently. The service was terrible even though the place was empty. Our servers gut was hanging out and while he brought the food to the table it almost touched the food. It was a horrifying experience to see a fat dudes belly almost touch the food. Yikes

Nice location. Server could have been attentive with orders. The food was not bad just average. Chips & Salsa did not taste fresh.
Picked up our order. When we got home found out they forgot to give us part of our order but charged us for it. Called and spoke to manager but he would not take care of the mistake.
