Small quaint family owned restaurant. Very subtle flavored dishes. This is not Thai!!
Prices are quite high for the amounts of protein and the carbs. I bought pork noodle bowl, light fresh tasty pork. But I’d have been better off buying the Bang Mi and not paying $9 for a handful of noodles. I’ll likely go again and try some different things but trips will be not often because of the cost.

Who doesn't like a hot bowl of pho on a cold autumn night?! I ordered their Pho Bo (beef broth) which just felt like a comforting warm hug in my belly. It's a no-frills bowl of pho but I couldn't get enough of it! I'm never in this area so I doubt I'll be back but if I'm ever in the neighborhood, I'll be sure to stop by!
Also, their ground pork egg roll comes out piping hot and crunchy! Love it.
The older lady who took our order was friendly and the service was fast. No complaints whatsoever. They don't have a liquor license but they're BYOB.

We were looking to get a bowl of pho and came across this little shop.
First, this is a small and intimate restaurant. Nicely decorated with photos from Vietnam. The owner was super welcoming and she said everything was made from scratch. She checked on us every once and awhile and even refilled out waters.
We ordered a few things on the menu: pho with Brisket and steak, pho with steak and Meatballs, pate chaud, and banh mi with chicken. All the dishes were super delicious. The broth of the pho was soothing, the pate chard is a good bang for your buck and banh mi was perfect!
We also ordered Vietnamese coffee and Vietnamese lemonade. The lemonade was refreshing and the coffee was strong, just how I like it.
Highly recommend this place and to give it try, especially if you're a fan of Vietnamese food or just trying out new things in general!

I ordered the vegetarian pho, the limeade, and the veggie spring rolls. Everything was delicious and fresh! My mom and friend ordered the pho with steak and brisket and they enjoyed that as well. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming. The staff was friendly and kind. I would definitely go back and I recommend! Thank you!

I’ve had plenty of banh mis and this one is among the best! The pork was so flavorful and tender. The Pho broth was sooo scrumptious. Made with love for sure. Prices very reasonable for the portions and quality. Will gladly be coming back again and again!
Nice, Intimate place. Daily specials, pho, bahn mi, and other dishes and appetizers. We tried bahn mi, spring rolls, soup broth, chicken fried rice, salted lemonade, and a Vietnamese coffee. Obviously family owned and they were very gracious. The food was fresh and everything we ordered was excellent. My favorite was the soup broth and the bahn mi. Small sitting area but comfortable. The restroom was spotless as was the entire establishment. I would drive out of the way to visit here again. Highly recommended.

Aug 2024 my first time here. Delicious! The beef broth noodle soup was a great experience.
the service was so good & the prices were PHENOMENAL. the waitress was so kind & was able to carefully manage all the tables. the pho was truly the best meal i’ve had in a while, it is definitely my favorite & i will be back with cravings lol. i ordered chicken (beef one was even better!!) and added some chili paste as well as both sauces for extra flavor.

Ordered a pork bahn mi and pork egg rolls. Bahn MI was perfect. Fresh crisp carrots , jalapeno, cucumber and cilantro. Pork was very tender and tasty. Bread had the perfect crunch to soft ratio and the egg rolls were super light and crispy with a killer sweet chili sauce. 10/10

I ordered take-out from South Viet for the 2nd time, and again the food quality was excellent. The (pork) Bánh Mì sandwich is my favorite. It has the best bread. The pork chop with rice is just as delicious. I also like the hot pastry pie which is filled with meat. It's flakey crust is very good. I haven't found better cuisine in Homer Glen
