I wish Mr. Beef was still here. There beefs were so big and good. Fasano's was still better, but they were close. Recognize

Not the experience or food I was expecting.Inside a sports bar that has its share of loud drunk regulars. The beef was overcooked from being in a warming tray too long, horrible texture.

What a disappointment it was. I was a huge fan of the Mr. Beef on Orleans in Chicago. This was the biggest disappointment ever. 1st of all the waitress "Isabella" was very un-personable and pretty much downright rude. They refuse to give you additional Aue Juice to dip your beef in? Then I asked for hot Giardiniera and got at best 4 small peppers and very little hot oil. Of course, they charged me for that also. We were only allowed to order a junior beef, why I don't have any idea. That cost $5.56 a piece and wasn't worth it. They must think that their aue juice is liquid gold or something. If I ever went back "and probably won't" I would stop at Buona or Pops down the street for some aue juice and hot peppers to go so I could enjoy a beef the way I like it and not the way, they "Mr. Beef" will serve it. I thought at first it was me but the gentleman next to me and my wife had the same complaint. I can clearly see why they went out of business from their original location east on 143rd. Look onto a Mr. Beef website from Orleans in Chicago and you see full beef sandwiches drenched with giardiniera and au juice. Take note Homer Glen. Carl Bonavolanto would be very disappointed in this sub establishment.
