I like the menu. Good specials. Good service all around. Our server, Jillian, was a delight. Nice atmosphere if a bit loud. Good place.

I recently visited The Phoenix Kitchen & Cocktails. I have been here many times before (approximately 10–15 visits), and until now I had always been satisfied with both the food quality and the service.
During this visit, I ordered a steak cooked medium rare. In reality, the dish was significantly undercooked compared to what is expected for this level of doneness — essentially a nearly raw piece of meat with only minimal searing on the outside. In addition, the quality of the meat itself was unsatisfactory, with a substantial amount of fat, making a significant portion of the steak inedible.
After bringing this to the staff’s attention, the steak was taken away. However, instead of promptly resolving the issue (for example, by bringing it to the correct doneness or offering a replacement), it was initially packaged and returned with a comment that it would still be included in the bill. We did not refuse the dish or the payment; we only asked for it to be properly prepared.
Only after a second request was the steak taken back again, further cooked, and returned on a plate.
Additionally, a pit from an olive was found in the chopped salad, which posed a risk of dental injury. There was no apology or meaningful response from the staff regarding this issue.
This review reflects solely my personal experience. Given my many positive prior visits, the current level of service and the way regular customers are treated is particularly disappointing. At this point, I do not plan to return to this restaurant.

We went on a Thursday night and service was absolutely terrible. Shouldn't take an hour and 45 minutes for dinner. Our waitress never brought out food to us, bus boys did that. She never asked how our meal was(mine was terrible and way too spicy after I asked her and she said it wasnt spicy at all). 6 oysters for $20 and next to no taste or substance to them. $9 for warmed up rolls.

Ill never be back.

Well, what can I say? Me and my wife have been wanting to go here for quite some time and it was rather disappointing. The service great! We sat at the bar and the bar tenders were very attentive and accommodating. The atmosphere was also very nice. However, the food is where it all falls apart. We tried 3 different dishes and all were a bit off and they all came out VERY fast. Like fast food fast. Not sure how it can be made to order. The bruschetta was tasty but the pile of prosciutto under need was very tough and difficult to chew. A heavy portion but didn’t belong as is. The artichoke hearts were very tough and difficult to eat. The flavor and sauce was good but texture was terrible. Imagine eating chewy grass. Then we ordered the prime rib. We asked for medium rare and it came out medium. It was incredibly chewy and grizzly for a prime rib and the fresh fries were very oily/greasy. Overall the food was very very disappointing and I’m not sure if we will be back to give it another try. 3 dishes, 3 strikes….. the phoenix may just be out.

We stumbled onto this place kind of spontaneously as we were looking for a Saturday night dinner location. We enjoyed perfectly made salmon and wonderfully made pork chops. Great service great atmosphere we will be making a return trip soon or reserving this location for special occasions

This time I won’t be back I found it funny that the server who didn’t wanna serve me tonight is a bartender /Redhead who didn’t give me my rewards last time It was absolutely rude about it before. I did have rewards in the system and I found that hilarious so then I get another server who gives me even awkward experience and I just gotta say does maturity even exist anymore. I will not be back. I bring enough friends and business here I’m so sick of it and Thank God, my wife goes somewhere else and now I’ll be telling my family and friends not to come here. Update* they just fired the chef lol I stand by my opinion on class!

Met my friend to celebrate my birthday with a drink and some apps.
Was very disappointed in the shrimp egg rolls.. It was simply a shrimp battered and deep fried not an egg roll.

It was our first time here. Absolutely incredible! The filet was next level and the pork chop special is the best in town. Great Old Fashioned too.

Menu items include meats, poultry, and some seafood. Cocktails are made very well. Dessert selection very good. Great spot for dinner with friends; service is attentive and not rushed.

We felt very rushed throughout our dinner. We had a 7pm reservations. Waited about 10 minutes for our table.

Interesting (in a good way!) and unique food and cocktail menu. EVERYTHING was incredible, especially the crab-stuffed mushroom appetizer! Service was perfect, as usual. Can't wait to go back.

We are fairly frequent diners to the Phoenix and always appreciate their weekly menu specials. This week was a pastrami sandwich on marbled rye with a whole grain mustard - and it did not disappoint! We also shared the grilled artichokes appetizer (always delish!) and the creamy cauliflower soup. Our server was fabulous and attentive as well. We will be back again soon!

Been there many times ... always enjoyable ... pastrami special was fabulous... fun to try special cocktails and mocktails

The oysters Rockefeller were outrageous- I've had them in so many places but nothing compares. Husband had the Mediterranean sea bass and I had the filet. It did not disappoint. My only regret is not leaving any room for dessert because they all looked delicious

The Phoenix never disappoints! Such an amazing restaurant. We love coming here on date nights, family gatherings, or just a drink. Highly recommend!
