We used to eat here when Charlie owned it and haven’t been back but a couple times since he sold. I specifically asked for hand tossed/ thin crust pizza. I was asked on the phone multiple times to make sure and I clarified with them that we wanted the thick. We also got a chef salad. These were the same things we always ordered when Charlie owned it. We pick it up and I opened to check the pizzas to find out they were all thin crust….i questioned it and the lady said oh well those come from the freezer…ok so why didn’t I get what I ordered?? She wasn’t making any sense so we paid and went about our business. We called on our way home and asked for the manager (not sure if it was the same lady that took my order over the phone) she said the Large didn’t come in thick…. Well why was this not told to me over the phone?!?! Then she said their thick only comes in the 10” and they were unaware we wanted thick. Very frustrating!! Pizza didn’t taste as good either, so will probably go to Casey’s from here on. Also the chef salad was a joke. At first we didn’t see ANY toppings, well they were under more lettuce on top. Makes me wonder what they were trying to hide. All the toppings were hid and finely chopped/minced. It was a joke. It was also higher than before. Definitely not worth the price when you don’t get what you want even though you clarified it multiple times.

Wel, I grew to love this establishment when they hired a fantastic cook a couple months ago. Found out last night he no longer works there. Before he started the food was hit or miss. Sometimes great sometimes mediocre. For the last several months it has been consistently amazing. We would go out of our way to stop in if we knew he was working. He was supposed to work last night. I could instantly tell he didn't make our meal and asked. I was told he was no longer there. Guess we won't be coming back..
Best example of the night... When he made kids burgers, they were a smaller ROUND patty. Everyone else literally cuts a burger in half and thinks that is acceptable. Children notice! Also, food was consistently coming out in rounds.one of us would be finished eating before the rest even came out. For the past couple months everything came out together, hor and fresh. I fear the old habits are on their way back based off our experience last night.

I love the food here, its perfect for a small town restaurant! Its fresh, decently priced and tasty. What more could you want? Very family friendly. I just wish the decor wasn't aged beer paintings on mirrors? But thats my only criticism!

I ordered for pickup. Online ordering was easy. 2 burgers, sweet potato fries, and boneless wings. Everything was hot and fresh. The staff was very friendly. I'll definitely order here again!

I hate to say anything bad about a local business. I was told a wait time on carry out, the wait time was 50 minutes longer than the original wait time. I suppose I’ve been spoiled by the great service Charlie Belcher offered with the great crew he hired. All tips went to his employees. I miss the great service Mr. Belcher took pride in as the owner of Charlie’s grubb and sudds. My hope is that the “new” owners learn to operate this business like a well oiled machine like Charlie did.

Service and food were exceptional. We were driving through and decided to stretch our legs, sure glad we did. The fresh cut fries were awesome and my daughter said this is how every pizza should be made!

Had Charlie’s today. Got a BLT & was told it would take 30 mins. Went to pick it up, the food was soggy and disgusting, as if it was definitely done before 30 minutes. Usually the food is tolerable for where we are but today it was awful. I wish we didn’t even bother. Not to mention our entire order was 36 dollars. 36 dollars for warm garbage.

Excellent service, even better food. Loved they had the gluten free pizza option. Wish I had not waited so long to try. Will visit again for sure.
Dietary restrictions: Very pleased with the gluten free pizza. Best gluten free one have found. The regular sausage pizza was also well received. Definitely glad I gave a try. Definitely be going again. Thank you.

Our server, Lara, was really cheerful and pleasant. We enjoyed her sparkling personality. We got Italian beef and appetizers, and it was all delicious and priced right. Lara refilled our drinks many times, and we never had to ask. The inside of the restaurant is bright. If you’re looking for something casual and family-friendly, this is a fantastic spot.
