Bad customer service! I dined at Rudy's at Balagio with a group of friends. I had a full sized order of lasagna that I left on the table. When I called back to return to the restaurant to get the food, I was told it was thrown away. The owner, Mike Galderio, accused me of trying to get free food and refused to replace the order. This is one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. It shows the level of poor customer service and racism. I will never return to this establishment and suggest anyone of color to avoid Balagio in Homewood. This place does not treat African-Americans with respect.

Called to inquire about a small wedding reception. Was giving the run around by Lana when I finally talked to her was told we don’t do wedding reception you can’t have a DJ or any of that she was very dismissive. When I first questioned about the hall the young lady I spoke with said people have parties with DJ’s all the time I wonder what changed when I finally spoke to Lana it just makes me wonder.

Great service and experience here at amazing place of Balagio Ristorante. Had a brunch here recently with my brother and we both really enjoyed everything. Especially the chicken pasta dish and their dessert were also fantastic. I have been going to this restaurant for more than 5 times. Can’t wait to go back again.

Love this place. The server was fanominal. I asked them to make a fettuccine carbonate w Alfredo sauce. It's was a favorite from my younger years. It was delicious here too. Yum! I'm always very happy when I come here for a nice elegant dinner

I must admit I was not expecting what I got last night at dinner which was a relaxing, clean, perfectly serviced experience. Not to mention the food was amazing! Angela our server was just perfect and other wait staff were very attentive. It has an old school Italian restaurant feel which I love and the menu reflects that as well. Portions are generous, ingredients were fresh, and presentation just right. I had the Country Style Rigatoni and my client had the Chicken Parmesan both were delicious. We were celebrating her retirement and they brought out a piece of tiramisu with a candle, a perfect touch to end the evening. Definitely will be back with clients and family! Great Job Balagio!!
