Food was not good at all. Cabbage was tough meaning that it was undercooked, macaroni was clearly old, catfish was undercooked as well. Catfish did not taste jerked. Rice & peas was the best part of the meal. Jerk sauce had a serious vinegar undertone which was not pleasing. I should’ve known the food was not going to be good when I entered the restaurant and could not smell a jerk aroma.

Could be a much better place with some real management! Food doesn’t taste like real traditional jerk food, taste typical American made. And they constantly either run out of oxtails or simply don’t have them!!! And the last oxtail dinner, the oxtails were tough, small, and poor quality! Plantains were undercooked as well! I think this a black owned establishment??? Hey Jerk-N-Go, you all have to do better, especially with your customer service, every-time you call in an order it’s …………hold on!! it's been awhile since I've been here and i will say they have improved on all three fronts, food, quality and service...i was pleasantly greeted by two nice employees who took time to explain a question i had about the fried jerk wings. i ordered the dark meat and curry goat dinners. i switched to the jerk catfish after they ran out of the curry goat, both came with rice and beans, 2 nicely portion sides, bread and sauce without asking. Both dinners were 100% fire, flavors were very good, the wings had good flavor, ok size. there werw several other items on the menu that i will be trying on my next visits.

The experience at this jerk chicken restaurant was an absolute disaster. Upon arrival, I was told to wait 25 minutes, then it turned into an additional 10 minutes, and finally, a whopping extra 40 minutes. When I requested a refund due to the endless delays, an individual emerged from the back, seemingly annoyed by my justified inquiry. The sheer disrespect, unprofessionalism, and blatant disregard for customers' time and patience make this establishment not only a culinary disappointment but also a prime example of how not to run a restaurant. Save your money and sanity by avoiding this place at all costs. Returning to this jerk chicken joint after a hiatus of three years only to be met with such appalling service was truly disheartening. In the past, the wings were consistently dried up and burnt, paired with a side of mediocre macaroni. This recent experience not only reinforced the poor quality of the food but also highlighted the complete lack of improvement in their customer service. It's evident that this establishment remains stagnant, failing to meet even the most basic standards of a decent dining experience. Too add insult to injury they are also extremely overpriced I will never step foot in that place again.
We are from rantoul, and looked this place up and decided to try it, and we were not disappointed. We were very very satisfied! ? we loved the food it was sooooo! Delicious ? the young lady who helped us was very polite and kind and patient, she did a amazing job in helping us. Compliments to chief. We will be back for sure. So thank you from the stewarts! ?
