They charged me $9 for three stale donuts. The next time I ordered specialty donuts online, they did not have them when I came to the window and wouldn’t give me a refund. Bad location, lazy staff

8/15/25 I arrived to this location 10minutes before closing, listening to the entire staff management included-laughing, carrying on, as they were completely unprofessional and not doing their job they are being payed for….simply because they decided they were
All done working. No surprising the cackling came to and end at closing time, after i waited and asked for service for 10min. Some lazy worker FINALLY came to the intercom which was on the whole time I was a customer waiting to have my order taken- that someone came to say they were closed after sitting and being ignored for 10mins, to which the intercom was turned off and I was unserved customer. Completely unprofessional

Store SAYS it opens at 6am. It does NOT. Manager came dragging herself in with a bonnet on her head. I expect more from this Homewood location

It's very expensive now to buy a donut! About $2 each. They are good. I've will adjust the number of donuts I buy, the cost of nostalgia 😀
The young lady that helped us tonight was great! She was friendly helpful and quick.

To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction regarding a recent experience I had at your Krispy Kreme location at 17815 Halstead St, Homewood, IL 60430, on July 29, 2025 at 6:22 PM.
I visited the drive-thru and politely asked about the availability of cake batter donuts, which have consistently been unavailable every time I visit this location. I was told—yet again—that they were not available. When I inquired further and asked when more would be available, the young lady working the drive-thru responded with a dismissive and rude attitude, saying, “I don’t know,” in a tone that was anything but courteous. I asked a follow-up question regarding availability in the morning, and was met with the same cold, unprofessional response: “I don’t know.”
To make matters worse, the employee in question—an African-American young woman with long nails and a visibly unkempt weave hanging over the drive-thru window—was not wearing any kind of hair restraint. As someone who has worked in restaurant management, I found this highly inappropriate and unsanitary. It showed a complete lack of respect for food service standards, customer interaction, and basic hygiene.
Why does this location continue to hire employees who clearly do not understand or care about customer service? A drive-thru employee should be able to answer basic product availability questions without attitude or sarcasm. If they can’t, perhaps they should not be working in a customer-facing role.
I left this location extremely dissatisfied and deeply frustrated. If that young woman was not the manager, I would hope that a manager was present and took note of her behavior. I expect a response from management regarding how this situation is being handled and what steps are being taken to ensure that future customers are not treated in the same unacceptable manner.
Should I not hear back from the store’s leadership, I will escalate this complaint further through corporate channels. Customers should not be made to feel disrespected, especially when simply asking questions about products being sold.

The donuts are too small for the price. Please provide a way to warm up your donuts for the paying customer. KK is known for warm donuts? Why display these donuts that are Never available.
If you love Krispy Kreme donuts then you have to stop here when the red light is on! The red light means hot, fresh out of the fryer donuts. Or just take a donut and put it in the microwave for 10 seconds. Yummy!
