The Easter buffet was very good. There were lots of options for my daughter who's gluten free and pescatarian. The variety of food was great. We left feeling very satisfied and full.

La Voute is a hidden gem in the south suburbs. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our seafood- centric dinner. My appetizer was a special for the night. Mushroom risotto with scallops. The risotto was creamy and flavorful with slices of mushrooms. The grilled scallops were perfectly cooked. My husband had the mussels in white wine, which he said were delicious and garlicky. I had the salmon special and he had the mahi-mahi special, which were recommended by our waiter. Both were delicious and cooked to perfection. We split a crème brûlée for dessert. It was a creamy not-too-sweet end to a great meal. Presentation of each dish was beautiful. We will be back!

Always an excellent experience. My only complaint was one guest in my party had burnt bacon and had to send it back. And the bathroom, although probably with the hotel and not the restaurant definitely needed cleaning. Service was great. Servers ver attentive to our needs.

I have been to many restaurants in many cities. I consider myself a self-proclaimed food and service critic. I was sorely disappointed in the service and the food. First, we waited to be seated, and then once we were seated, we waited fifteen minutes for a server to bring drinks. I had to find someone to bring water and bread to the table. The food was only okay, nothing to write home about. I didn't even eat my leftovers. I was hoping this place would be a hidden gem in my community, but I will not be returning. I always recommend people try for themselves, but I give this place a thumbs-down.

Stopped in here on Valentines Day for dinner with my wife- We had heard that they had a new chef so we were excited to try it out again. I had the halibut special, with a type of scallop topping. The presentation was very nice, but the best part was how delicious it was! The service was attentive and courteous, drinks arrived fairly quickly and the warm bread is a nice touch. My wife had a fancy salad that I can't recall the name, but it was part of the special menu that night. All in all a great meal, will definitely return. The restaurant has an upscale ambiance that is the best in the whole area.

We had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional French American cuisine in a picturesque location just outside the city. Our young, yet highly skilled waitress made our dining experience even more enjoyable. From the perfectly crafted cocktails and drinks to the warm and fresh bread, every detail was carefully considered. The elevated quality of the food was truly impressive. To top it off, the owner himself joined us at his restaurant and took the time to introduce himself, demonstrating his strong dedication to his business. We are grateful to all those who made our experience truly unforgettable.

Great food and wonderful service. Well kept local secret. I highly recommend for date night or any other special occasion.

Been to this restaurant many times but I think under new management now. Beautiful place and good service. Food was good to fair. Drinks were excellent and good wine selection. Bread was served with MARGARINE that is a big no no in my book and no butter available. Appetizer and soup very good. Salad was a good serving. The halibut special was poorly cooked and very disappointing. Potatoes were cold. Shrimp and grits was delicious. Prices to high for quality being served We will give this restaurant another try for drinks and appetizers

They open at 4pm, Our reservation was for 5pm & arrived on time. Immediately seated but after that, it went straight downhill. Took 15 minutes to get the oysters & soup, which were Meh Asked my server when would my food be up, after noticing a couple that arrived 20 minutes after me, received their food, she apologized & said shortly. After an hour if sitting & the couple next to me received their meal, and they came 25-30 minutes after me, I requested the manager. All we ordered was Halibut & Chopped Steak, it should've NEVER taken an hour for that. She apologized & comped our soup & oysters. I get that it was Valentine's Day but they were not full to capacity & again, I was there an hour after they opened. Totally disappointed & doubt I'll try again.
