The establishment is clearly in need of improved management, particularly during evening hours. Staffing issues have left the remaining employees overwhelmed, often seen scrambling to accommodate a growing number of customers with little support. This not only creates a chaotic environment for the staff but also leads to long wait times for patrons, many of whom are left frustrated by the lack of timely service. Without proper scheduling, adequate staffing, and efficient oversight, the customer experience continues to decline, putting the reputation of the business at risk.
This place has gone downhill so bad. Everytime i come around yhe sane time in the evening i dont know if the manager over everyone has changed or hwat but this store is ridiculous when it comes to getting anything in the evening time weather you go in drive through or inside. Why are you so understaffed? Do you not know how to hire the right anount of people to get the job done? Why am i constantly waiting long times for a 2 drinks? The past few months have been hell and if there was another starbucks on my route to home i would go there instead and take my business else where. Their worlers wit there running around like their heads are chopped off trying to accomadate all the customers. I hope yhey get paid ebough for all the running around yhey have to do. Please do better before you lose more valuable customers. Get betetr management that staffs accordingly because im sick of waiting all day for my stuff. Other than that the customer service is amazing
I feel sorry for the workers there’s two workers on the floor no manager on site no help I had to wait 2 hours because the drive through was crazy. That’s poor management right there how can you just let only two workers on the floor where’s the rest of the staff. And this was in the evening/night that happened. This is crazy do better seriously do better

Refused to sell us any beverage other than the cans of refreshers even though they were supposed to be open for another 10 minutes

Super friendly staff and very clean location. Was enjoying my coffee and watching YouTube videos on my laptop and watched team handle the onslaught of customers walking in and the Drive Thru.

Don't bother going inside. Baristas won't even acknowledge you when you walk in, and we waited 5 minutes for someone to even look at us, despite being the only people in line (the drive thru had 2 cars, max, when we came in). Drinks were not worth the cost, especially when they aren't actually full, despite ordering both drinks as they came on the menu--no additions or substitutes. Reminds me why I stopped coming to Starbucks entirely

I was treated very rudely at the Starbucks in Homewood on Halsted. I was attempting to purchase a medicine ball to help with the cold symptoms I've been experiencing today (I wore a mask). I looked forward to it after working late, only to be ignored by the worker cleaning the countertop close to the locked door. She didn't look up at all. Rude, not to simply make eye contact to say, "We're closed, sorry." I was treated like I was invisible (smh). I had just seen someone leave the drive thru window, so I thought maybe only the drive thru was open, so I tried it. The worker at the window looked at me rather bothered and gave me the "cut off at the neck" gesture, I guess to indicate they're closed,
I understand when it's closing time workers want to go home, I get it. But do you have to be rude and agitated that a customer is trying to purchase a product from your company. Do you wish customers stop trying to buy your product? I wasn't aware the store closed 30 minutes earlier than Mon-Fri hours, and due to the treatment I received from the TWO workers, I'll never forget it. Maybe I'll just make my own version of the medicine ball and forgo the Starbucks version. By the way, I arrived at 9:42 pm, and someone was in the drive thru being served when I pulled up.

Went to get a hot coffee and it was lukewarm, then I went to tell them about it and they gave me another a little bit warmer. It’s like they have the cup sitting there for a while.😠
