A classic dive bar in Homewood. You will get exactly what you expect. Pool table in back, jukebox, some slots if you're into that, and friendly service. Extra points for having a veggie burger on the menu!
The waitress didn't check on us not one time. She was taking care of the bar and serving...it wasn't that busy the evening we went there, so she could have been a little more attentive.
I've been going here for 2 to 3 years now and I like it. Missy is my favorite barmaid. The atmosphere is nice enough - very pretty during the holidays. It can get kind of loud on weekend nights just because it's busy. Some come as couples, some with groups, and some (like me) come alone just to relax. Everyone is welcome and respected.The women's washroom is always clean and stocked. There's a big selection of music, several TVs, a pool table, and lots of video...
