Twisted Q is a nice hidden gem if you are looking for a couple pints and some decent BBQ.
I started out with the burnt ends chili, which had a good balance of beans and pork trimmings. It was a hearty cup that was almost a full meal in itself.
For my meal I did a brisket sandwich with mac n’ cheese on the side. The mac was gooey and cheesy, a bit lukewarm, but a good balance of savory and salty. The brisket was tender and tangy, with a good amount of BBQ sauce. The onions and cheddar cheese added a nice layer of flavor.
For dessert I had a slice of the best peach pie I’ve had (with ice cream). The crust was warm and buttery with a gooey and soft peach center.
The atmosphere was a little dimly lit and quiet, which isn’t bad if you are craving some alone time, but not great ambience for hanging out. Service was very solid, as our waitress was very attentive.
Come by if you are looking for a bit of calm and some decent BBQ to pair.
I had a pulled pork sandwich that melted in my mouth. It was the. Eat I ever had.
Great food and atmosphere.
The food was so dry!! The waiter took my husband and my own meals off the tab since we didn’t eat but two bites of our meat. My husband ordered the brisket that is supposed to be “smoked for 14 hours”, I ordered half slab of ribs, my kids got burgers, even the burgers were dry and rubbery. Everything was for sure microwaved way too long. It was definitely disappointing. The service was the only thing that wasn’t bad. It didn’t smell like BBQ like I read in one of these reviews(should have been our first clue to leave), the seats are ripped up, the bathrooms were not clean. I’d never suggest a restaurant that is supposed to be a Barbecue joint that serves a knife with their ribs. Please do yourself a favor and don’t eat here.
I have been here 4 or 5 times and ordered different dishes, from the salmon burger to the chicken parm, and everything has been awesome. Good regulars and always fun.
Did not try the Barbeque this time, but the menu has very delicious items on it. The open face turkey sandwich and fish tacos were great. Johnathan was very professional and courteous, thank you.
Amazing food, well done atmosphere and our waiter Jonathan was the best!
Good, honest food. Quantity and quality were both good at good prices.

Not impressed at all with this food. Really basic cooking, just hot and came fast. The south suburbs has better tasting ribs
