I order a little while ago the food was horrible and cold the fries and tips is soaking mild sauce, it’s hard finding a good barbecue just will have to do it at home myself the next time

After work I chose this place for take out, I called first to order 4wings & Tips, I specifically stated lightly mild sauce, once I got home I was so disappointed, Everything was drenched in sauce, I guess to cover up the wings was old, the tips were cut up and dried out, The fries which was under this mess was old and saugy,, for $22.00 this shld be a crime,, selling people this awful mess,, Money absolutely wasted...I made the call to this place to discuss the matter, and that conversation was very unprofessional,, just Sad!!!!

First time here, got a jumbo turkey link combo. The turkey tips were dry and hard, like they were old. The sauce was too sweet but the turkey links were really good if I had to rate from 1-10 I'd give it a 4.5 outta 10 and that's just for the links.

We needed to stop and gas up and lucked up on a pre 4th BBQ spot still serving beef ribs cooked to perfection. This little pit smells of smoke baked into the walls just like I like it. The BBQ itself was smokey and seasoned well. It did not need to be sauced but the sauce tasted of its own unique blend of spices and definitely carried well. I would rather this place a, must try. Hurry and get there because they do sell out
Ordered the small tips...meat was really tender! The mild sauce does have a kick to it. The coleslaw was nice and creamy, the service was excellent.

This place is located next to a gas station and that should’ve been a sign for me to stay away. The food was nasty and the peach cobbler was spoiled and mushy. It made my stomach sick 🤢 and I won’t mention the rest. The turkey links were hard and dry. I will not suggest this place to anyone. Beware you’ve been warned. Bad food and ok service. Quality of food is horrible and the taste is bland, nasty, and overcooked.

I placed the order over the phone for pick up. And uh upon getting there, the person that was at the register, not sure if he was the owner or not was very rude, disrespectful in regards to me, walking in with my service medical alert. Dog got loud with me when I tried to explain. That it was a service dog him violating my rights about asking me for my service. Dog paperwork to which i still showed teyinf to defuse the situation and trying to also educate him on state and federal laws. When it regards to real medical alert service dogs to which he told me he didn't care that my dog has to. Wear his photo ID so that he can identify it because emotional support dogs are not welcomed in his restaurant.end up having to call the police to report his behavior and will be reporting him to the Better Business Bureau as well. A bout a year the bbq was pretty decent. It was not the best, but it was acceptable, not great or fantastic. This year 2025, the BBQ is truthfully unacceptable to serve the people of Homewood and surroundig areas. My last two visits forced me to return the ribs I purchased do to overcooked dry and crunchy meat. Not to mention the meat was hard and crunchy inside. If you do visit this business, I suggest you ask to test taste the ribs before you purchase them. Really not the place to but top notch BBQ ribs. You have been warned. I usually don't do reviews, but this time the food was really too bad not to. Homewood resident.
