The design and feel of the restaurant is very interesting and inviting. The staff was absolutely exceptional, and the ribeye was outstanding!

Tonight was our first time. We were greeted by the best young man. They were very booked and he recommended us sitting at the bar for dinner. The onion rings were some of the best we have every had. My steak sandwich was amazing!! Next time I will have the special. The Ribeye looked amazing!! Thanks for a great evening. We look forward to next time!! Food was great and the staff was great too!!

Went on a Saturday evening with a group of friends. The place came highly recommended by several people. And Micki's did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in it was a wonderful experience. We were greeted and seated promptly with a smile. Didn't know what to expect but it's not a stuffy, fancy place but a very charming and friendly atmosphere, a small town restaurant with a nice bar. Their signature dish is their 16+oz marinated ribeye, this particular evening it was served w/ corn and mashed potatoes and gravy. The mashed potatoes were really good, the corn was probably the best I've ever had from a restaurant and the steak, was nothing short of amazing. Someone did their homework with this, perfectly marinated. It had just a hint of sweetness mixed with the grilled/char flavor and was melt in your mouth tender. One of the best steaks I've ever had, and I've had a few. The owner waited our table and was the most down to earth pleasant person that I've ever met. She elevated the experience completely. It was a 35min drive from Bloomington,IL. and worth every minute. If you are ever in the Hopedale,IL area you need to make it there.

My son said it is melt in your mouth steak every time he has been here. Three of the four of us chose the ribeye at $52 a plate, which doesn't include salad at a "farm to table" lol. If you do get the salad, it is served on a saucer so tiny you cannot toss it without losing half of it. When my daughter finally got hers, it had no cucumber as if she requested it that way, however loves them. The dinner came with fresh off the cob corn and baked potato that was undercooked and dry for supposably having butter and sour cream in it. All three steaks had an excellent flavor, however, were extremely chewy. We all just brought them home and it may have been a fluke, but for that kind of money and only open three days a week, it should be melt in your mouth perfection every time. As you can see from my picture,its practically untouched. That being said the Busch Light onion rings were 💯🔥just delicious! I should have went with the tenderloin 😂😂.... Story of my life. The staff was great, the atmosphere awesome, and the very young man serving our food was AMAZING! 🫶🏼

Food- $12 pizza will get 3 meals out of it :) My other party members devoured their platters Service- Owners' young son showed us our table, very friendly and pleasant. Our server was super nice and efficient. Our order taker was Micki herself she was once again super nice and efficient. When we left the owner's young daughter held the door open for us which was a nice gesture. She also let us know that this is the old Froggys' location ( for those who remember that little snack/ice cream place). Atmosphere- Beautiful. I couldn't even tell it was the old Froggys' from the inside.The blue light tint on the bar was a nice touch. Nice well stocked restroom. Only negative is that it's loud and hard to hear your party members. Voices echo off the ceiling ( not sure what the material is but it amplifies everyones' voices)

Went for late lunch/ early supper, sodas were flat they tried to get them right but couldn’t so they refunded it, Delux pizza came out burnt on the bottom crust and tough. I’m not sure why as there were only 2 tables dining at this time.

Table of 4 walked in and was sat at 6:30pm we had 2 rounds of drinks and food came out at 8pm. We had to ask for our check. Waitress was slow. There were open tables around us and people who came in half hour after us, left well before us. We finally got our tab at 9pm. Won’t be coming back anytime soon. We ordered 1 steak special, one salad, one kids meal u item and one chicken sandwich. Not impressed with the blonde waitress. (We have come multiple times before hand and never was this bad) disappointing.

16oz marinated ribeye (on Friday and Saturday nights), best I’ve ever had. Drinks were great, as was the service. The bar is beautiful. Definitely worth the drive.
