The food is hit or miss but the presentation was good. Young server was pleasant but I got a general sense of indifference from mgmt to some food temp and quality issues. Oh well..... Inside of the building is quite nice and clean but bring a flashlight, the parking lot is not lighted.

A very clean place, good music, the place is big and elegant, very comfortable, the food delicious. They have a very assorted menu has something for all tastes, you can order the chilaquiles to taste depending on how spicy you like it, the meat cooked just right, the hot and golden churros, the delicious passion fruit margarita the best in the area, the delicious pork rinds !! very affordable prices, Spanish and English spoken, large parking lot, very friendly service, definitely a good place to meet friends or for a date. They have service inside and on the patio, the restaurant complies with all the required sanitation measures, really a highly recommended place to eat, you do not need a reservation. recommendations; The place is a bit hidden so be careful not to go without seeing, almost in front of what was the Huntley outlet.

The server was not familiar with either the drink menu or the dinner menu. The mojitos were good, but the food was tasteless and the steak was cut so tiny in the enchiladas that there was no substance to them. I'm giving this 2 stars because the chips and salsa were fresh and tasty and my husband said his chicken was okay. So much better last time we were there. Just no flavor at all in the enchiladas or burritos.

Excellent food here. We occasionally do an office lunch from this restaurant. I love the guac and enchiladas.

We like a lot eating out. Yesterday we arrived in this excellent restaurant which we didn’t know before. We had a lovely time there with exceptional cooking and a nice crew and a talented cook. We added this place in our list and we shall surely go again very soon. Highly recommended.

If you want authentic Mexican cuisine, this is the best place in the Northwest suburbs. Fantastic food, great atmosphere and owners are so nice! This was the desert from the featured dessert menu, Grilled Sweet Plantains with Brown Sugar Glaze. AMAZING!!!

Don’t even think about it, if you’re on 90 47 stop by for a great meal at Casa Rubio‘s .....best food ,best service, best everything !!!!

I came across this place when doing some restaurant searching in Huntley. We tried it out on a Friday for dinner. The place is nice on the inside and the staff was friendly. Overall place didn't have an authentic feel but it was still a good Mexican restaurant experience. Dinner was served fast and we enjoyed all of our food. They have quite a few items on the menu and also have lunch and breakfast menus. We are looking forward to going back there to try other food options. My only 2 complaints are... My draft beer tasted flat and checkout time took a while but I think it was because it got busy. As a vegetarian I was very happy to see a lot of vegetarian options.
