The food is always good at this place, and the workers are friendly. I'm giving them a three-star review because the prices are a little high. I was especially baffled after I added two Jarritos to my order last minute, and I ended up being charged $9.00 for two standard sized, single-serving bottles.

The staff didn’t seem to know which items were gluten-free, and they told us soft corn tortillas weren’t gluten-free. They kept saying they “weren’t sure” and didn’t check the ingredient label when we asked. My friend has a wheat allergy and needs to be 100% gluten-free, so this was really frustrating. We always order street tacos with soft corn tortillas at other Mexican restaurants with no issues, so this was surprising and disappointing.
When my friends and I decided to leave because they said the whole menu wasn’t gluten-free, the staff just kept saying “oh, I’m sorry” instead of trying to help or double-check anything. I really hope they can improve their allergy knowledge for future guests.

The new owner called me back about my order and she wanted to argue a little about it. Then the part she argued about was left out of my order. I drive back and got the rest and she did not even apologize. The lady at the register was amazing and very pleasant.
During my visit to Huntley, my coworkers told me about Tacos Locos and I trusted their opinions as they are from that heritage and I'm so glad I did. The burrito was absolutely amazing and the egg rolls were out of this world. I'm definitely planning on trying more menu items during my time in Huntley before I go back home!
