Our first trip here, and since we expected a sports bar, we were pleasantly surprised at the fairly tranquil atmosphère. There was a lot of room and a pleasant atmosphere. Naturally there were televisions in every direction, but it was a sports bar. The menu was typical and what we had turned out to be perfect choices. Mr wife had the gyros plate that she said was delicious. I ate a lot of the French fries on her plate and they were perfect in size and texture. I ordered the chicken wings and they arrived with celery and carrot sticks and plenty of dipping sauce. The wings, not incidentally, were meaty and delicious. And the service was perfect.In the infamous words from the Terminator movie. We’ll be back!

as always great service from Nori- BUT WHAT HAVE TOI DONE? I ordered my favorite wings and mild sauce. Same ones I have been coming in here for years!!! To my dismay I have no idea what these are? Breaded? Yours were perfect before! My mild sauce is gone! I am so upset. I always knew where to go for wings. Really, I am so sad.

Wife and I are 2 plus a week customers. I was there on February 27 during the storm. Ordered a take out and had a drink while waiting. When I got the bill my normal 8.00 rocks drink was close to 15.00!!!! Almost double the cost in two days. Great bartender also was shocked. She checked with the manager and said yep. The prices went up. This is nuts. This is Huntley and not downtown Naperville or Chicago. I rated the food 1 star because there was not a spot for liquor. Food is great but most takeout orders are wrong. But always resolved by the bartenders. Might have to start going back to Main Street.

I’ve always loved coming to Rookies with my friends and family. I looked forward to bringing my partner there for the first time and hyped up the mild wings because Rookies had my favorite mild sauce of all time. We both order our wings and they come out unrecognizable. I talked to one of the staff members and he explained that under new management they decided to stop making the sauce in house and just cut open plastic bags and call it mild sauce. So instead of taking the hot sauce and mixing it with barbecue and blue cheese (as I was told what they used to do) they just lazily pour some hot sauce out of a bag now. It’s too spicy to be considered mild sauce and it tastes like peppery disappointment.I will no longer be recommending the wings and honestly will visit Rookies much less now as their mild wings were my all time favorite. It makes me sad Rookies. Come on.I would like to add that the man who explained the sauce situation to me went above and beyond to make it right for me! He went in the back and attempted to recreate the original mild sauce which I really appreciated.

I've been to this Rookies a few times. Always had good service, food, and atmosphere. The last time I was in, I had a problem with my order. The situation was handled very professionally. Mistakes happen. I will be back again.

Rookies in Huntley is "always bussin", like my daughter says! Many options on their menu to choose from! Try the saganaki, it melts perfectly onto the pita bread ?, it even comes with a show!From The Greek salad to the pub fish n chips, to the Rueben, ingredients are always fresh and plentiful! My daughter would recommend the bbq chicken pizza and boneless/mild wings with ranch! Throughout the years, the servers have always been pleasant & observant! ..and the slot machines have a habit of at least doubling my $20!!This is a great place to meet a friend, or even to bring the family! I would love to see a mocktail on the bar menu crafted by Nori! Thank you Mr. Bob Karas & Nori for being in our community and for all that you do for our people on a regular basis!! #SupportLocal #SmallBusinessPs... would love to see a Village Squire in Huntley!
We love Rookies! Food is good, staff is nice and prices aren't too bad. However, at Huntley, they have an ATM that is owned by an employee, Noori. He is despicable. You can only get $60 out and the fee is ridiculous. He is arrogant and not at all concerned about customers. The ATM options should be the same at all Rookies locations!! Get rid of him!!?
