“We had our work Christmas party here this past Saturday and we were highly impressed! We were a large group with close to 30 people and the service and food were wonderful! We were nervous with a big football playoff game being that same night but you couldn’t even tell they were so busy. Great job!!”

“Best sammiches in town. This is a Macomb must-try, on the same level as Larry A's. The sandwiches are unique in a way that you want a local sandwich shop to be, but without being wild or obnoxious. The ingrediants are all excellent and high quality, the same it's been for decades. Simply excellent.

Regarding some reviewss here, Ray is a nice dude. He's straightforward in trying to get it right. He'll admit he's a little gruff when he's busy, but it's never personal and adds to the charm and personality of the place. I know country folk expect constant politeness, fake or real, but I enjoy Ray's real-ness. He just cares about the food.”

“Place is reasonably good. On par with other restaurants in macomb. However, you need "rocky dollars", to buy food, which is basically dollars in your student card. Not sure on which days it accepts cash for general public. Better to call and verify”

“I stopped into the Peoria, il Chick-fil-A. It was my first time being here. Lauren at the counter was very helpful and the manager heard my conversation. He reassured me that I will love it and put my meal on him. He was right, I will bring my family back next time. Also the very pleasant lady coming around to the tables was extremely nice as well. Great hospitality.”

“Overall great stuff. My only knock is that I was told there would be 31 flavors. When I counted, it was only 24. I'm not math whiz...hell...I barely passed 5th grade math, but 6x4 is still 24. All good though, because they have pink bubble gum and that's the best...I have loved it since I was in 5th grade....which I barely passed.”
