Have been waiting for Grayslake Dog n Suds to reopen. Still waiting. Miller's came to the rescue. Had forgotten just how yummy that the root beer tastes! Car hop was polite and attentive.

Many fast food places, take shortcuts, or change over the years.... But not this place! Still the same after the 40+ years I've been coming here!

Decent Chicago dogs which I've gotten a few times. OK fried mushrooms. Got a cheesecake shake and it mostly tasted like plain vanilla and when I got to the bottom there were "cheesecake" bits that didnt really taste like much of anything, but had cheesecake texture. The staff is always great and the atmosphere is right on. I'd like to try the green olive burger as that has the opportunity to be amazing, but I always just end up getting the reliable Chicago...
