The Bandits' Smoke Shack

Beware, its not a restaurant. It's a walk-up order window in a garage. I walked up to the window to check it out for food for me and my 2 kids, and some drunk guy came out of the entrance by the staircase and started cat calling and throwing up.

Had the BBQ pork and it was very good. Took off a star because they were out of a few things we wanted to try but what they did have was tasty.

Found this great little place just behind Dwight Bar off frontage road. People were nice and food was amazing. We had the brisket tacos. Absolutely 100% a must! They do take credit card. Looks like they are building a stage for bands, they have a nice fire pit with chairs and several picnic benches to sit around

The food here is incredible. As a native Chicagolander: I've had a lot of burgers, fries, and Italian Beef sandwiches. The meal we enjoyed at Bandits was definitely one of the best in the category that I've ever eaten.

Our entire group was happy with our meals. Their burgers and brisket tacos are excellent but I think the real standout was the Italian Beef which was enveloped in a pizza crust with mozzarella. The crust was so perfectly done that it rendered us all speechless. The fries were also fabulous and if you can spring for the loaded ones, you should. The cheese and bacon elevates those potatoes to a new level of amazing.

I'm daydreaming as I type about the food. We're definitely going back.

Outdoor dining experience. We tried the brisket tacos, pizza, and chili! Everything was delicious. The candied jalapeños on the tacos were a nice touch. The chili was spicy and packed with flavor. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Wheelchair accessibility: Outdoor seating and picnic tables. Easy to roll a wheelchair up to the picnic tables.

The food was very good and we enjoyed sitting at the picnic tables. We had gone to try the pulled pork and they were out, but the brisket was nice. I enjoyed the chicken tacos and I added on the pickled red onions. We will have to go again to try the pulled pork.

The smoke shack is behind Dwight's house pub. Great BBQ, it's very relaxing to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere. The day we went they were out of pulled pork.

First time there and food was great! Can't wait to try more from the menu.
