We love New Canton. We get food from there probably once or twice a month. The portions are generous, so we are usually able to make two or three meals out of it, so definitely worth the money for us. If you are eating it all in one sitting it might be a little pricey.The food is excellent and the service is very good.

Not sure what happened but my latest experience here was not good. No one in the party of 5 cared for what they got that much. And there was a variety of dishes. I will chalk it to up to a bad night and try them again, as I believe we all have bad days occasionally. It wasn't terrible, it just wasn't that good. With all the food we ordered, I was expecting a mistake.....nope, the order was perfect. And the woman at the counter was friendly. So, yea, they deserve another chance.

Unequivocally the best food I’ve had in quite some time. Please please PLEASE try this place. It’s a family-owned friendly restaurant that cares about your palette. 5 stars, hands down. I lived in China for two years and New Canton is my favorite restaurant now. The lo mein is always good, but the one we had tonight was on par with the street noodles I ate for lunch every day. There are very few places- even in St. Louis- that can compare.

"25-30 minute wait" = 1 hour, more than once. They know it will take them more than 30 minutes but continue to tell customers that over the phone. They also get you to pay when you come in so you have no choice but to ride out the wait time. 1 hour 30 minute wait after being told "25-35 minutes"
