The best place to stop for lunch! I always look forward to seeing Jerseyville on my work schedule even though this is an hour drive. Just gives me an excuse to stop back in here!

I was in town for work and wanted to find a local place for lunch. I found Redbird Deli and it was such a wonderful experience. Beyond the chicken salad croissant sandwich being fantastic, Carla and the other staff members were so incredibly nice and definitely have created a warm and welcoming environment. I couldn’t recommend this local gem enough. If I come back through here again for work, I will DEFINITELY stop again.

Stopped in with Dad after some dirt work. I had one helluva Reuben, with some good chili, and sweet tea. Dad was happy with his Redbird Special! We both needed a to-go since the fresh-made sandwiches were huge!

Good deli sandwiches and sides. Staff was spot on and very friendly. A popular spot so allow a couple extra minutes. A few seats but most come to order and take out. A shout out to Nancy. ??

My friend and I had a Reuben, special salad, and creamy cauliflower parmesan soup. They were all absolutely delicious!!! The staff could not be friendlier!!! I've eaten here before but it's been awhile. I'm not sure why I waited so long to go back.If you like soup, salad and sandwiches, this is the best place around to get them.Highly recommend
