This little gem in the historic township highschool building was well worth the drive. The aesthetics were pleasing and they even had pictures on the walls of the graduating classes from the old high school, along with a model of the old firehouse. We were greeted by friendly staff, who continued to make us feel welcome and explained the menu. The prices were unbelievably inexpensive, but the quality of the food was outstanding. I got the big boy breakfast with a side of bacon...
. 10 minutes our order was taken . Food was hot & delicious. Waitress was attentive. One of our favorite places to eat. Much better than fast food . They make you feel welcome
An absolute local gem. If you are passing through, like we were, or happen to live in the area and haven't been, I highly recommend this as a stop. This is true American diner fare at its best in a spot that clearly cares about it's historical roots. We enjoyed looking at all of the things on the walls and in the restaurant about the history of the building while we enjoyed a very low key and delicious lunch. It was absolutely worth the stop in our 1,000 mile road trip....
