This venue is a welcoming and quaint (granny in the kitchen) restaurant, known for their LOCAL steak and everything is made from scratch! It's a horse camp, as well, complete with the campfire right out front.Since it was a Sunday afternoon, the steak had been consumed by the hungry cowboys and their families on Friday and Saturday nights, so I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger and fries with a side of homemade ranch dressing. Everything was amazing!!

Food and service were good!My wife and I had a great drink. "Cowboy" something or other - don't recall. Coconut rum with cranberry and cherry. Neither one of us are cranberry fans, but this was delicious!

Hidden gem in the Shawnee Forest! We (6 of us) stopped in on motorcycles. Cool little bar and grill with an awesome outside seating area. Grilled bologna sandwich is the best!
My party of three were all floored by how good the food here was. We were talking about it for days! The menu is simple but they do everything on there about as good as you can, I tell you what.

They have a great menu. It's in the middle of nowhere and is beautiful. The food was ? yum. Who knew corn nuggets are better with powered sugar!? There is no cell service BUT they have open free wifi you can connect to while visiting. Next time we visit garden of the gods we will go back to this little place again. The owner was super friendly and chatted with us while we eat at the bar which looked well stocked. ? Not a mixed drink kinda guy or gal? They have beer on draft, can or bottle!
