The staff here is phenomenal. Truly the best, and they make you feel at home. One of the best dive bars out there.

Daverns is a very popular bar. The staff is nice and attentive. Because of its popularity sometimes you have to wait a little bit but what can you expect on weekend when you’ve got a big crowd, live music & people enjoying themselves with a feel good atmosphere? The outdoor area is great and live music performs there during the summer months and inside during the colder months. There are bag games to play and if you want to host an adult birthday party or an event in a bar type of atmosphere this is the place to have it. They have a special event area in the back and if you like to play slots, there are some slots located in the front. While I don’t drink we have friends that do and we have been patronizing Daverns for years as our friends and my husbands bands play here . We haven’t really ordered food from here yet so I can’t review the food. I’m just reviewing the service and the atmosphere. They have specials from time to time and just really seem to me that they are all about the customers and running a great bar business. We have been treated so well every time we come which is why we keep coming back. So if you’re in the Justice area and want to stop at a great little bar/lounge give Daverns a try. .

Typical southside bar. Staff walks around with "I'm voting for a felon" with the felon giving the finger. Two parts of bar open but never a bartender around, and when she was around she was extremely slow. Enough said, not worth going back, cannot recommend, don't waste your time.

I attended Davern’s Tavern and Lounge over the weekend for a benefit. Wow!! If you’re looking for a place to hold a benefit, this is it! The outside grounds were very nice and spacious. The bartender and all the workers were so friendly and helpful. Joe the owner, especially stood out. His love for Byron and this wonderful family was so evident. He was funny and held the guests attention, raising as much as much money as possible for them. He was more than just the owner of the bar, he genuinely cared about this benefit and everyone felt it.
