Portions were small, but flavorful.
I got the jalapeno and cheese tamales. They were extremely dry and crumbly with barely any filling. The rice and beans were good. The prices are reasonable but I'd rather pay more for better quality food.
Tiny taco restaurant. Great tacos and tamales. A couple of small tables, but not really a sit-down place. Mostly take out.
Cash only, unless you want to be upcharged 4% for credit card usage.
The food is excellent, they're usually busy so definitely recommended ordering ahead and it's not really a place meant to dine in, but for sure super tasty
We got the Dorito nachos, tacos and tamales. Food was good and the order was accurate. The place is really small so I would recommend getting it to go.

Everything was good except the tamales without flavor or sauce, I called to tell them that the flavor was not good and they did not have sauce and they sarcastically told me that I was the only one who had complained when I see many similar comments here

The food is probably better (not great) than anywhere else I’ve had in Kankakee, but it’s too pricey. It’s definitely not worth those prices. The burritos are almost $10.60 including sales tax. That doesn’t include the 3.99% surcharge for paying with a credit card. The burritos have very little meat, and they seem smaller now. They don’t even allow dine-in anymore.

My absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in Kankakee/bradley/bourb area. The Birria tacos are always amazing. Whatever I get, it’s always good and the employees are always super friendly to me. I only wished there was dine in available, but I don’t mind doing take out when I know it’s going to be good regardless.
