We have eaten at Lori's a few times. We were pleased with the food and service etc. However, this experience was less than their best foot forward. Service was very slow, 10 minutes or more before we received service. Didn't receive what I ordered, ordered eggs over easy received scrambled, and my wife ordered one egg over easy, received scrambled. She ordered fruit and it was several minutes after we had been served. Seemed to be enough staff but only one waitress working her butt off. I will give them the benefit of doubt, it was an off day.

I've been cooking all my life and I know freezer burned cooked meats when I see them. I was served sausage parties that were burned around the edges and light gray in color. I informed the server that I would like bacon instead. She brought out four stripes of bacon two under cooked & two burned ?. No flavor from the biscuits and grave. This place needs a new cook fast..

The food is great, the pricing is good, but the people working there are even better. They cheerfully accommodated us even though it was close to closing time. My suggestion to take this place over the top: It has great potential to have an English pub atmosphere, with just a little cosmetic tweaking of the decor. It could be a gem for the downtown area.
Amazing food at cheap prices. Service was outstanding. We will definitely stop in again on next trip through here.

Disappointing. Stopped in and it wasn't busy. Took a few minutes before anyone recognized we were there. Gave our drink order to one waitress and got our drinks from another so wasn't sure who was our waitress but I ordered unsweet ice tea and brought me sweet ice tea. Switched that out but the tea was so strong couldn't drink. Hubby ordered omelette and never got his toast. Waitress didn't come back and check if everything was ok. Had to wave her down to get to go boxes and our check. I had biscuits and gravy. They were ok. First time here and last. Average food and poor service. Nothing taken off our bill for not getting our entire order. Will spend my money elsewhere.
