Please bring back buffet. Whole town misses it.
I ate lunch there today and had a steak torta. It was delicious. The meat was high-quality fresh and tender, and the flavor was just delightful. I highly recommend this place family owned and operated authentic you won’t be disappointed.
This little place is amazing. I just had the best tacos I have had in a long time, maybe ever. The service is exceptional, super easy to get to, right off 275 at airport, and very reasonably priced. My husband and I will be back.
Food is nasty
Took my grandmother 👵 we ate good she loved it !
The food is great! I got the asada tacos with arroz y frijoles and everything was delicious. You will not be disappointed.
We just moved to Kankakee and this is our first time trying a new restaurant in the local area. We were very impressed with the quality of the recipes used, the freshness of the ingredients, and even the presentation of our meals in their to-go containers. We'll definitely be ordering again from this restaurant and I suggest that if you're looking for top notch Mexican cuisine in the Kankakee area this is the place to go. Genuinely some of the best Mexican food I've ever had and easily in the top 10 of best food I've ever had.
Wow fresh tasty food you have to try this trust me da best
Nachos could use MORE toppings & LESS chips but overall, the food is good!

So I usually love their food and orders are correct. However, whenever they are at the farmers market and my husband orders us food, it’s always wrong. He just returned again and this is about the 4th time our order is wrong. He ordered me 4 ground beef tacos in flour tortillas. Well, they were not in flour and there is barely any meat on them. I’m not driving all the way back to return. They also haven’t had the nachos available in a couple of years which was my favorite. Just disappointed that this constantly happens while at the market. I guess the only way to get the order correct is eating at the restaurant.

The quality of the food has dropped a lot, the way of preparing the food and the sauces have also changed.

We went on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was quiet and we were seated promptly. Our waitress was very attentive and our Jamaica drinks were out of this world good.
The food took a little long, but it was fresh and hot. Definitely worth the wait. The green salsa and chips were also very tasty. I had the flautas. It is a basic Mexican staple but it is surprising how hard it is to find good ones. This place had them!! My family has the red enchiladas, fajitas de pollo, and Mexican steak. All were highly complimented.
If you are in the area, stop by. It's very good homecooked food.

Got a couple of things which was good and bad. The bad is they give you large portions and I ended up (my own fault) with way too much food. The good was the food itself. Very tasty. I got takeaway. Ordered in store and waited, maybe 10 minutes. It was not my first visit and look forward to going back.
I think they make one taco every 5 minutes.ridiculous
The steak Mexicana was great. Will be back when I'm in the area.
