The team, coaches & Masons had a great time. Waitress and kitchen staff were great, as well as the pizza. My favorite was the veggie pizza. Thanks Monical's

This chains seems to be the only place we visit as we drive to and from Champaign to visit our son in college. Regardless of the location, the set up seems the same. Entry way and walk up counter to order, seats to wait to take out or sit in the restaurant and they bring the food to you. I have never ordered the pizza myself as I'm lactose intolerant. My wife loves the pizza. I've had the wings and breadsticks. I think at one time I may even have had a slice. It's decent pizza for a rest stop. The restaurants are homey and are a lot nicer than the fast food options along the way.
This location is listed to get off the highway at a certain exit. It is the wrong one as it's the long way to the restaurant. Lots of weird turns and alley-like roads to get here.
Though, of all the locations we've stopped at, the Kankakee location was the nicest. It's a good place to stop on the way somewhere else and in case you live nearby, it's a decent place to grab a slice, eat some decent wings, and have a nice, casual meal.
