Our Chebanse Lodge of St Anne #429 co-sponsered the Herscher High-school Scholastic team. The Freemasons took the whole team out to Monical's. in Kankakee for several types of pizza. The team, coaches & Masons had a great time. Waitress and kitchen staff were great, as well as the pizza. My favorite was the veggie pizza.

This chains seems to be the only place we visit as we drive to and from Champaign to visit our son in college. Regardless of the location, the set up seems the same. Entry way and walk up counter to order, seats to wait to take out or sit in the restaurant and they bring the food to you. I have never ordered the pizza myself as I'm lactose intolerant. Monical's pizza was thin well prepared and delicious. The staff was friendly, professional, and fast. The prices were modest. This is a rare restaurant in 2024 that met or exceeded all expectations. A+
