This is a hidden gem in Kankakee. From the outside it looks like just another local bar, however once inside it is a trip back to the past with a warm personal greeting followed by outstanding service and a very home cooked menu.
Very welcoming atmosphere! We were going through Kankakee in the a.m. so we had breakfast. It was VERY delicious š We didnāt notice the very obvious pumpkin sign advertising āpumpkin pancakes w/caramel pecan sauceā even though we had already ate our very nice sized breakfast we ordered a half order and NO REGRETS!!! They were AMAZING! If you get a chance I would go and get the PUMPKIN PANCAKES!! We will definitely stop again!
Nice hometown restaurant. I had the Farmers Scrambler with 2 eggs over easy. Very good. Breakfast potatoes were very good. Nice staff and felt like home. Will be back for a lunch or dinner.
