You don’t have to be poor to eat here. The owners have one restaurant on each side of Kankakee. This is the one we frequent. The food is good, the owners know us and the service is always consistently excellent at the counter. This is a former Hardee’s and it spotlessly clean on the inside. If you want fast food, this is an excellent alternative to the national chains. The gyros are very good, and the beef sandwich is as good as you’ll get in the area. I only wish the inside...
Great food but can't afford it anymore. Prices are just to high for fast food people needto boy cot all fast food restaurants. All to expense and they burn the poor boy sandwich anymore.
On my way back to Indiana I stopped at the 1515 West location for a snack. I ordered the garlic fries. The young gal working the drive-thru is very hard of hearing! The service is a bit slow, but not bad. The garlic fries were good, but could certainly be less salty. Also, I'd say they're a bit overpriced. I would definitely go back to try other menu items.
