My husband had the haystack breakfast which was very good. I had the breakfast sandwich with cheese egg and ham which was very dry. Maybe butter the toast or not cook the egg until it was completely hard. The only waitress was too busy talking to a table of customers to pay much attention to anybody else. Only restaurant in a very small town. Decor was cute.

10/10 I got the Philly Cheesesteak Smothered Tater Tots and my bf got a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. We also got dessert I got a piece of coconut cream pie and bf got a piece of chocolate pie.
The philly cheesesteak tater tots were so good,very filling
The bacon cheeseburger was delicious made with real hamburger and bacon. Where can you go these days and get a burger made with real burger, this place you can. The bacon was made very nice and bun was toasted just right.
The onion rings were sweet and crunchy, homemade and very tasty.
The coconut cream pie was topped with toasted meringue with pieces of coconut. I’m not a fan of meringue but this was good. I ate it all.
The chocolate pie was also delicious and also came with meringue on it. But was very good and homemade!
We will definitely be back!

So glad I found this place while on my way somewhere else. Were very friendly to this lone traveler. The catfish filet was fantastic. I wish I could have fit that HUGE cinnamon roll on my bike without squishing it!

Very delicious food (got the Haystack). Very clean establishment. The waitress' are very prompt and attentive (but not overly). You have one that's sweet and one that's a tad bit salty 😀! Just kidding (🤔not really). Stop by and say hi! It's a very family friendly place. And we absolutely love the girls, they will definitely add some smiles to your day.

Amazing home town diner. You will look a long time before you find a gem like this one. Friday fish day is out of this world. Try the Buffalo fish. Sides are great, and can't stop eating the hushpuppies.
The Hook makes you feel like family, and it’s in a nice small town where everyone knows everyone, but it’s always busy with locals and a few outsiders, but no matter how busy, food is always delivered quickly, and always tastes phenomenal. I always wanna give a shoutout to the wait staff that always remembers I use A1 for my sandwiches and fries, and they always have it on standby!! 11/10, you gotta try The Hook

Stopped for a quick bite. Grabbed a cheese burger and fries. It was a real hamburger not to be found in a fast food restaurant. Fries could have been a little more crisp but they were done. Will be going back to eat their real food.

The juiciest & greasily satisfying cheeseburger. The bun was slightly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Oh and the BEST homemade onions rings!!!!
