Most of this review is based on nostalgia. When I was a teenager, my dad would take me here when he got off work (when it was only underground) so I could eat pizza and he could have a couple cocktails. Though I live a thousand miles away, I was able to take my kids to this place so they could enjoy the pizza (along with me). Still a great tavern style thin crust. No, I didn’t have any drinks but I was able to get them to open the downstairs for us so my sons could delight in...
Was very excited to take my Granddaughter there on 9/7 eve. We were walking around trying to figure out where we could sit, we were told only the Sunroom and Outside were open, walked into sunroom it was very loud and hot. We asked if we could sit in a booth just outside the sunroom but inside the building and were told they were expecting a big party. Way to loud to sit in sunroom so they told us to sit in the beer garden, handed us menus and told us to choose what we wanted...
We just had a birthday party for our 1 yr old grandson and it was fantastic! Atmosphere was great in the garden room and the service was top notch! Food was great! Could not have asked for more! Recommend to anyone for an event!
