Family of four stopped in a Saturday night at 6 p.m. No problem waiting for a table. We have a problem with our waitress taking our order -- 2 appetizers, 4 entrees, and some drinks, never to return to our table. Our ENTIRE order came out in less than 10 minutes. Food runners dropped our food quickly and disappeared. No realization that we probably shouldn't be getting a giant pretzel, calamari, and four entrees at the same time. No refills on any of our empty drinks. Our waitress never came back. Not even to drop off the check. Or to see that my daughter's chicken caesar wrap didn't have any chicken in it. My Cobb salad was so light on ingredients, it felt more like a side salad than an entree (for $16). My son's fish and chips were mushy. Husband's burger was a hit! Overall a huge disappointment. We waited and waited for our waitress to return but didn't so I headed to the host stand to pay. While I was there, my daughter called me to say she reappeared and would bring our check. Back to the table I went to wait. and wait. and wait. Then finally back to the host stand where our waitress was standing with the hostess. Waitress confirmed she never came back to our table. I asked for the Caesar wrap to be removed from our check and it was. Then the default to 18, 20 and 25% tip appeared on the screen -- I tipped and rolled my eyes. I could maybe forgive bad service but I can't forgive bad service and bad food. Wild Onion will get 2 stars from me because my husband's burger was delicious -- but never again.

This review is for late lunch for two at the bar on a Saturday in mid-February. service: Meliada (hope I got that right) was our bartender and she was awesome. Very professional and knowledgeable. Everyone we interacted with was fantastic. bar: Their Heartbreaker IPA ($7 for 16 oz as of 2/2024) is highly recommended! We also bought a four-pack of tall boys of their Misfit IPA ($10, what a bargain!), which turned out to be equally great. Looks like a full bar plus wine. food: My wife got the South Chicken Salad ($16) with avocado on the side and I had the Western Burger ($17). Both were really fantastic. Wide ranging menu with lots of options. details: Plenty of surface parking, which is great. Wild Onion is in a bit of an industrial or commercial area. Interior is nice and it looks like there is special events space. '70s and '80s arena rock on the sound system.

This review focuses on the Great Hall venue space in the back of the building. Me and my fiancee toured the venue, along with her mother in consideration of hiring Wild Onion to host our wedding reception. It's readily apparent that Wild Onion does not pay close attention to how the venue space is maintained or cleaned. There were large stains everywhere in the carpet. In fact it didn't look like the carpet had ever been cleaned since it was installed. It didn't help that the carpeting was a light gray and highlighted every little stain. You can also notice the high-traffic areas in the carpet, because when it never gets cleaned, the tracks the servers (and guests) take become rather visible. To the owners: part with a few nickels and get that carpet cleaned once or twice a month. Another notable oversight was how clean the venue was kept otherwise. There were food splatters on the walls, stains in the fabric on the room divider that folds in and out of the wall (these were visible because the last two segments are still visible when it's fully retracted), and I even saw a 5-foot long dust bunny hanging from the window moldings in one spot. Who the heck knows how long that or any of the other obvious giant cobwebs have been left there. Lastly, I'm not sure they keep up on the maintenance with the Not-So-Great Hall. There were sections of wall that looked like they'd received 10 years of abuse from countless gatherings, with the paint scraped off and various shades of rubber deposited in its place, and were never repainted. Broken window treatments were also a common theme, especially in the side room that contains the lounge area, bridal suite, and bathrooms. Why am I going on about this in a Yelp review? Because I am convinced that the wedding industry is one giant PsyOp. Wild Onion managed to censor our negative reviews on every wedding site, so no wonder literally every venue on those sites has a near-perfect rating. I also felt it was a huge waste of our time given how the space was portrayed versus how shockingly poor it is kept up. The mother of the bride, albeit jokingly, said that if we got married there she would be staying at home.

It had been quite awhile since I'd been to the Wild Onion. I enjoyed my salad, which came just as described. Our server was attentive and also didn't mind that we took our time catching up over lunch. Overall it was a nice experience!

I ordered one of their specialty drink my husband ordered one also, they tasted like pure sugar. We ordered a big pretzel it was half off at the time so it was 5.50 we ate it because we were hungry thank goodness we didn't pay full price. We ordered a salad it was fresh but it was a spring mix out of a bag with a little dried chicken. I ordered the fish which was pure oil. I believe the oil wasn't hot enough that was 16.00. My husband got a pastrami sandwich that was pressed in a panini iron. I tasted it it was ok but not for 15.00. We won't be back . Our waitress was also tending bar and she was very nice. My husband hates to complain so we didn't he just said we won't be coming back here again. They were only seating people in the bar not in the restaurant. Onion pub use to have a lot of good stuff on their menu. Not anymore. Their ambience is a cute place but that doesn't matter !

My family of 5 adults and a 12 year old enjoyed our lunch here last week. Great service, big menu, plentiful portions, good food, reasonable prices. Will definitely go again for a casual dining experience.

Once a month, my husband and I have a dinner date at the brewery. We love the building, and the servers are excellent. On Valentine's Day, they had a wonderful special dinner. It was not only delicious, but they made it look so pretty. It was different from your regular tavern food. They also host various activities throughout the year. Thanks for giving us a fun place to have our once-a-month date nights:) I am not a beer drinker, but I love their apple cider " Carl's Revenge." It is a dry cider with a twist of hops, very close to the European apple ciders (not sweet).

As excellent as it was 15 Yeats ago! The French onion soup is the best I've ever had short of home made. Crunchy tater tots and delicious sandwiches as well. But don't miss the French onion soup!

Good has become average at best. Used to be so much better. Service is pretty good at the bar area, quite good at the tables. Beer selections are quite good. Hoping this place gets better again. Choices in the immediate area are sooo much better lately.

Best food I came here a long time ago and it was just an excellent experience that still stands out to me today.

Our daughter’s wedding was here yesterday- what a beautiful venue and perfect choice her and her husband made! Christian (banquet manager) and his staff were totally on top of things! Room was set up as stated. They made sure things ran smoothly throughout the evening. A complete package and great value for money. The room has a beautiful patio. Floor to ceiling windows made a great backdrop for the ceremony and then the head table. The bakery they work with made a delicious cake with many choices of flavor and design. In case of bad weather they will open the brewery for pictures. We couldn’t be happier!!!!

I have been here several times and keep telling myself not to go back. But I do because it’s convenient. Not anymore. The service has been terrible each time I go. From the host(ess) to the servers or bartenders. Almost always the same lackluster service. Never have I written a poor review on a restaurant because I have been on the other side in the industry and know it can be tough. But for what I am paying I would at least hope to get waters let alone the drinks I am paying for before my dinner comes. I can even be forgiving at not receiving plates for appetizers as I am good with a napkin.
