Classic American roadside diner outside Great Lakes Navy Base. All the usual menu items you would expect with solid experienced staff.

It’s a nice little hole in the wall dinner. Food was good, service was great, and the atmosphere was welcoming.

I was banned for life from this place. During our visit, a big crawled off my plate and onto the table. I had mixed fruit, and that's area it was in. My companion crushed it with his finger before I could get a waitress or manager's attention. The waitress brought the manager, and once I explained to him what happened, he grew very loud and defensive and demanded we pay for the meal. Not wanting to interrupt other people's experience, I stayed calm and explained that I did not feel comfortable doing so. The manager then accused me of not having enough money to pay for the meal and threatened to call the police. Screaming, he said either I pay or he'd call the police. I, still calm (although extremely embarrassed at the scene he was creating), told him to go ahead. No amount of screaming was going to undo me seeing a bug crawling off of the plate that was brought for my consumption. He threatened to call the police for nearly 5 mins. I stayed calm and waited. After speaking to other employees, he hastily shoo'ed them off. Returning his attention back to me, he screamed again stating that I don't have any money. He then demanded that I get out and that I was banned for life. I calmly said "ok", gathering my things. As my companion and I left, I approached our waitress and gave her a tip just over the total price of the meals.
Now, I use Full Moon to gauge how close I am to my destination and frequent other establishments. Since being banned from Full Moon, I can thankfully report that no bugs have dined on my intended meals (and trust, because of my experience at Full Moon, I've become Inspector Gadget with a fork).

Full Moon is everything a diner should be and the ambience is full-on nostalgic.
They've been individually wrapping the selections in their bread baskets for over 30 yrs, decades before others.
Their broasted chicken is amongst the best we've ever tasted.
Parking: Pull right up to the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: Great family restaurant. Casual. Relaxing. Friendly.

Kinda of a dive type restaurant, that has not been upgraded since the early 90s. With that said, the service is always friendly and quick. The food options are basic diner - but done well. No frills here, just an eat and run type of spot.
I usually grab the Farm-Style breakfast and a coffee - costs about $14. Consistent throughout the many years I’ve been stopping in. In the picture I added a slice of cheese, to make a sausage sandwich.

Mia, our waitress makes you feel like family. Your chef (Arturo?)is more than a short order cook. His food preparation is performed superbly.
I have been coming here for over 45 years, and, believe it or not, Full Moon keeps on getting better!

It honestly depends on what time you go. The night (7pm is when we usually go) shift waitress is really kind and is great to interact with too.
