Humble family ran bar and restaurant. Rita’s daughter Kathy provides incredible service and all the food is made from scratch. Friday fish fry is a must but all menu items are outstanding.

If you are a person of color (African American), this may not be the establishment for you. The waitress was passively rude, no matter how many times we tried to be polite. However, when customers who were not people of color came in, she acted like a completely different person. She acted as if it was a bother for her to serve felt as it wasn’t very uncomfortable.

This place is like from the twilight zone - worn out, sticky, gross. A single female, with substantially impaired basic social skills, functions as bartender, waitress, cook. After 58 minutes wait for a grilled cheese, I informed her, I cancel the order and will leave, she yelled at me : “I told you I was by myself!!!” Scary, dismal hole. I never knew eerie places like that existed in America. The high reviews are a mystery, unless they were left by the local drunks!
