I was really excited to try this place as I’ve been looking for a good spot to get a burrito bowl close to where I live. However when I ordered my food I asked for extra rice as the scoop was the smallest scoop of rice I think I’ve ever been served then he proceeds to scoop a slightly smaller amount. Same happened with the beans chicken portion was half of what expect when u go to a good spot. When all said and done I got guac added and my total was like 16 dollars for a bowl that was half of what u would get a chipotle or qdoba it felt like a snack more than anything. All of this would have been acceptable (and I wouldn’t have even wrote the negative review) if the food was good.
My rice was dry and hard, my chicken lacked flavor and overall was just not very tender at all, the beans were as u expect beans to be and the toppings were mid tier at best.
Overall if your reading this just save your money and your time you’ll just be sad you spent that much on a meal that will not only barely satisfy your hunger but also be lacking in Flavor and quality.

Man this place REALLY fell off. Every time I go they're out of at least one topping, but usually it's a lot more. They're also giving about half the meat they used to, I paid 17 for a barbacoa bowl with queso and there was almost no meat.
It pains me to say, as I used to LOVE this place and they have some of the best tortilla chips and salsa out there. But the prices have shot up and the quality has really gone downhill.
There wasn't much food in the bowl considering I got rice, beans, meat, peppers and veggies, pickled jalapeños, corn salsa, and cabbage. And the little barbacoa I did get was incredibly dry and crunchy.
I don't know man, it just really isn't a good value at ALL. If I give them another shot, it won't be for a whiiiiiiile.

Food was great, but what really sold me was U2's 'War' album being played

If it weren't for their sauces I wouldn't ever eat here again. Otherdoor is an after thought to the primary businesses (Inovasi & Half Half pizza). They are ALWAYS out of ingredients. Sauces, meats, toppings, the list goes on.
Their service is also inconsistent. There were times when I asked for a large container of sauce and it came with 2 bags of chips. Next time I asked for it, I was told they didn't do large sauces, and when they obliged they said they don't give chips with them either.
The only thing consistent with this place is the mistakes that they make. I just got home (45 mins away) to find that they forgot to put my 2 sauces in the bag. This isn't the first time that they forget something. Or put a wrong sauce or ingredient. At this point, it's really my fault for expecting more from them.

Went here because of the good reviews even though it was a detour. Food was ok but not as good as the hype. If you’re staying in the area check it out but not worth a detour.
Nice patio outside and tasty mexican food!!!

Used to be an amazing place, but quality has definitely deteriorated. Food not as good and prices seem to have gone up significantly. Place also could use some TLC, seems a bit worn.

We used to live in Libertyville and came here all the time. Moved into the city in 2019 but still made the trip, albeit not as often. We always loved their tacos; the ingredients were fresh and flavorful and the quality was superb. We stopped by this week and it was definitely not the same. The steak was ok but it tasted exactly like the kind you can get at any other taco place. I can’t explain it except to say the magic was missing. Gone was that unique appeal that had us craving their tacos time and time again. Maybe it was just an off day, but if their recipe has changed for good, it’s doubtful we’ll be back. And that makes me very, very sad.
