Well this is my second time coming over here to Galantis and so far I've been pretty satisfied with this Italian restaurant. This time I ordered the linguine Alfredo with chicken and peas. I also ordered "Arancini" or deep battered fried rice meatballs in cheese that is battered with marinara sauce which was delicious too. I learned it is a Sicilian street dish and is similar in texture to a Puerto Rican Rellanos De Papa or a Koshered Jewish Knish. I also had a minestrone soup since it was included with the pasta entree. I was going to eat their delicious tiramisu but I'm so stuffed from the pasta and all the other hefty dishes that next to also drinking three refills of root beer so as a sweet I can't do it. I had the same server last time and the service was pretty attentive. Ambiance was like it was last time and I was pretty satisfied and happy. Unfortunately this year might be the last year being in Chicago if not exploring Illinois so might as well write an updated review

It's been awhile since I've had pizza at their location in Round lake. This one in Lake Villa, was awesome.. The pizza was excellent and very tasty. I recommend people try Galati's Restaurant first before going anywhere else.

Good food, nice seating areas inside and outside, but flashing the outside lights and then laughing with the staff was a bit much... next time when you want customers to leave, a kind request from the server would be sufficient.

This is a love letter to Galati's.Galati's catered our wedding.Christina was our main point of contact. From start to finish she made everything seamless. She made wonderful suggestions for our menu. The prices were incredible, especially for the quality and quantity of the food.Our wedding menu main courses:Pesto w/ Gnocchi & Grilled Chicken (crowd favorite)Shrimp alla Diavolo w/ LinguiniBaked MostaccioliTiramisu (instead of wedding cake, again, crowd favorite)I cannot stress this enough: Everyday since our wedding, we have had people comment to us about how incredible the food was. SHOW.We will be returning for many date nights in the future, not only to taste the same delicious dishes from our wedding night to reminisce but to support this incredible restaurant.
