Went here for a couple of drinks and to enjoy the weather. Didn't enjoy waiting 30 minutes for one round of drinks and being surrounded by wasps. Other people's food smelled/looked ok, like typical bar food. Unfortunately the drinks took too long and we left without trying anything. Probably won't be back. Do better!

Great views of Fox Lake and good food and drinks! I had a Mai Tai and it was delicious...my husband had red wine wand was good. The shrimp salad with mango salsa is yummy and perfect on a warm, summer day!

Off the bat Fairmont Shores has that cozy cabin home away from home vibe that makes everyone feel welcome. Service was excellent and the food was fresh and delicious. Had the mango grilled shrimp salad and it was everything I had hoped it would be.

We read all the reviews before deciding to try this place. I’m not sure how anyone could give a 5 . The view is great and it ends there. We went for the fish fry. Big mistake. First we were completely ignored by all servers until a new one came and asked us if we had been acknowledged. She then offered to find our server. 20 minutes after being seated our server, who had passed us many times, came to us. We ordered drinks and our meals. My husbands glass of wine was so horrible I told our server. Turns out it had been “in the back” (most likely opened for awhile) and they then tossed it and opened a new bottle, which was fine. Our fish came quickly but was so overcooked it was difficult to chew and swallow. We finished our drinks , paid and left. We won’t be coming back. I am surprised at how many people were there especially since our food was so bad. I don’t usually like to put negative reviews in but we were so excited to find “one of the best lake county fish fries (per Google) only to find it was terrible, that I don’t think I will ever trust Google again.

The Chipotle Chicken Entree is neatly set on the plate. Broccoli and mashed potatoes taste very delicious. The chicken topped with chipotle and tomatoes are great. Big portion for price is very fair. Overall, the lake view is beautiful!

Spotted a small sign on the side of the road and decided to stop in. Pretty decent menu. Decent food. Nice waitress. No complaints.

Cute spot for dinner and drinks. Right on the lake, very nice patio. Lots of options on the menu, specials on the weekdays. Great salad, big with tons of toppings. I enjoyed my time here.

The staff is always friendly, my wine is always cold and the food is delicious! I love the casual atmosphere and the outdoor seating by the lake.

I try not to leave bad reviews I really do but waiting an hour 20 minutes for some burgers and a meatloaf platter is a stretch. And I'm not the only one, I've been looking at two tables beside me who were here before we were and they are still waiting also. If a friend wasn't treating for dinner I'd settle up on the bar bill and leave. Then when the order did come out it was wrong. We had to wait another 20 minutes for it to be corrected. Server was decent not her fault. She was attentive and did keep up on our drink orders. When we asked the server about the food delay all she would / could say was the kitchen was backed up on orders. She did comp the one order that came out wrong which was nice. Owner was supposedly location. Never once made the rounds apologizing for the wait. Based on the long wait for the food I don't think I would go back.

We went twice in 4 days! Loved the comfortable lakeside seating, with umbrellas to block the sun, and our sandwiches were delicious. When we ate inside on the weekend it was a little loud, but still pleasant. Very good coconut shrimp.
