Timothy O'Toole's Pub Lake Villa

I really like this place on my personal time. The people are friendly the food is good, and so is the music. I have one big contention, though. I deliver for the food companies , and every order I get, I have to wait an insane amount of time. I just came in today, July 8th, at 6:05. I told three people who I was and what order I was waiting for. I was literally looking at the order sitting on their delivery table, and not one check the time to say to themselves this must be his order, so I stood there for 15 wasted minutes. It's really hard to earn a living, waiting an ungodly amount of time for food, especially when it's already done. You need to up your game here, guys.

I got the Boneless wings 10 and was not that impressed. They were crunchy and hard not to mention took 30 minutes to be brought out to our table. Blue cheese was good and my $4.00 Lemonade was good but never got a refill. When I asked our server for a box I mentioned that the boneless wings were just ok she said “ok”. Overall not that Exciting or Memorable lunch. 😞

Baked goat cheese appetizer is a must! Best burgers and cobb salad around:-)

Service has taken a nose dive. I’ve even gotten bills that are not ours. Sad.

Food was fairly basic for a nice sports pub in Lake Villa. Lake Villa does not have many options for restaurants and this one stands out for being inviting, nicely appointed and good friendly service.

I just wish the food was as good as the amenities. Everything was pretty basic, with Mac and Cheese, Nachos, Wraps, Burgers, Sandwiches. They are all fine, nothing extraordinary and pricing is not offensive.

They have a happy hour menu, which is a nice feature.

Fried food I'd avoid bc the oil imparts off flavors / and suspect how fresh it is.

Great food! Great service! My husband got the meatloaf and I had the seasonal pot roast and both were out of this world delicious. Food was so good we ordered an extra one to go. Atmosphere is awesome and service was super great. Would highly recommend to anybody. Definitely will be coming back!

Had dinner there tonight for my husband's birthday. Food was great, Amelia our server was AMAZING!! Friendly, personable, attentive and just so sweet. Will be back and hoping she is there too. Manager was also really nice and hostess. Overall, great experience.
