“Where do I begin? Welcoming atmosphere, clean restaurant, and attentive service. I'm not a margarita fan, but I thoroughly enjoy my strawberry margarita and would enjoy again! My fiancé ordered salsa and chips for an appetizer and we were both happily surprised with the fresh chips and tasty green salsa! After enjoying our appetizer we both ordered their three taco dinner special for taco Tuesday. My fiancé order steak tacos and I ordered a combination of chicken tinga, chorizo, and their house special campechano. Everything was amazing!!! My fiancé enjoys the spicier salsas and was offered a habenero red salsa. We sampled all three that was received and have nothing but good things to say about them all. Thank you for an amazing dinning experience tonight, can't wait to come back and enjoy a new dish in the near future! ☺️🌮🌯“

“My waiter was good and friendly. I sat in covered patio. I ordered a spring salad with shrimp. blackberries, grapefruit, candied pecans, arugula and berry vinaigrette and a side of Mac n cheese. The salad was missing the pecans but I forgot until I left, I thought something was missing. However, the shrimp was perfectly cooked. The ratio of shrimp to half portion was good. Mac N Cheese was ok. Noodles were undercooked and some still hard/crunchy edges and cheese sauce was just average and a bit gritty/thick. However, I was not expecting my meal to be served with plastic wrapped plastic utensils. a take home box for salad and a take home container for dining in. That was disappointing. the table of eight next to me was a bit shocked too to get their meals in to go cardboard containers.“

“Great place! Our party of 5 bellied up to the bar and had a great time. Jim our server and Scott the bartender made some great recommendations on drinks and apps. Watermelon margarita was the best one in the flight we had. The Tequilla Old Fashion was fantastic! Definitely made new friends and will be back often“

“We had an absolutely wonderful first dining experience at Lago in Lake Zurich. Our server, James M., was wonderfully attentive and truly went above and beyond to make our evening special. We were delighted by the tableside preparation of the caprese salad, which was fresh and absolutely amazing. For our main courses, we had three steaks and a fish entrée, and each was cooked beautifully and tasted delicious. The quality of the food and the skill in its preparation were evident in every bite. This was our first time here, but it certainly won't be our last. We highly recommend Lago for anyone looking for a fantastic meal and exceptional service!“

“Just happened upon this venue after dining next door. Kenny escorted us downstairs and I knew immediately I wanted to celebrate my grandson turning 30. Wow wow wow! It totally exceeded my expectation’s and Kenny the King was an amazing host. Memories were made last night. Thank you Kenny for everything. Lynda and family“
