Went for lunch with my Dad and ordered a burger. Presentation was good but into my third bite I felt something hard stuck in my gums and ended up pulling out a piece of a grill brush and was bleeding. My dad ordered a slice of sausage pizza, which was dripping with grease and very floppy. When I was telling the bartender (super sweet and gave great service) about the piece of metal in my burger a large centipede crawled across the bar. Absolutely never again. I do not recommend anything from this place besides the bartenders customer service.

Sweet Melissa’s seems like a a neighborhood pizza pub. They have outdoor seating. They have what seems like video gaming machines. They offer some specials during the week. The spinach artichoke dip was very good.it was served with warm pita chips. It was creamy and very tasty. The bruschetta was good the only thing I did not like about was the bread toasted. It said it was served on crisp Italian bread but our bread was anything but crisp. It was basically fresh bread top with all the toppings. The toppings were very good but it lack that crunchy bite you normally get. My friend order a large margarita. And we ordered a loaded margarita with extra pepperoni instead of the bacon. I was surprised to see how thin the crust was. It’s almost like a cracker crust. Also surprised to see a margarita. without fresh mozzarella. Except for the very thin crust the toppings on pizza was plentifully. We also ordered a piece of tiramisu since it was my friend’s birthday. The slice was delicious. The three of us actually split the slice since we were too full to have a slice for ourselves. I guess if you like your pizza crust thin this is the place for you. I would come back again to try their other foods. Their menu looks exciting enough to come back.

We went to Sweet Melissa’s pizza n pub while our trip to Volo Museum. We ordered the double decker cheese pizza. The pizza was good. It was a thick layered pizza with cheese. There were no oregano and parmesan cheese (condiments) to use only red crushed peppers. The leftover carry out containers were available easily. The seating is not comfortable at all. The stools were so slippery and uncomfortable. I was worried the whole time. The fountain drinks were awful. No taste all at. First the server put tooooooo much ice like too much. We told her to throw it and get only the coke still coke had no taste. Then we tried the sprite… samething no taste. Just cold water. No flavor no taste. The fountain machine is not accessible by customers. Its only by the staff. Bathrooms were clean. They have place to sit outside too but it was sunny day so we could not sit outside.
