1st time here, I drove 1 1/2 hours to get here and I'll tell you what. I would of drove 3 hours 1 way. The restaurant is very clean and inviting. I was greeted at the door and seated promptly. The wait staff was on top of things and the food was incredible. I even got some to go!! I posted on my fb page with a high recommendation to stop by and enjoy!
Myself and three of my friends went there on a Sunday evening. We all got the BBQ sampler. It came with 1 chicken leg quarter, brisket, hot sausage and pulled pork. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed all of the food. We all had enough leftovers for lunch the next day.
We stopped for a family lunch on our way to Chicago. The music and artwork set a nice atmosphere, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend adding the candied bacon to your sandwich and ordering a plate of cornbread muffins to share. The employees are really friendly, too. We plan to come back in the warmer months to sit outside and enjoy live music on the stage.
