This restaurant seemed like a cute little hole in the wall and had the most amazing food! We were heading through town and needed a place to eat late at night with our two kids. We were a little confused in where to enter, as it seemed to be attached to a both a beer bar and a wine bar, but the service was amazing and the soup and dinner was delicious. My kids downed the soup and we had to get more, and the sandwiches were unique and delicious!

The place is a nice little cozy restaurant that feels very friendly and comfortable. Service was kind, and the food was just stunning. Me and my grandma got the strawberry cheesecake waffles and the caprese omelette and they were both flavor packed bundles of joy. The presentation of the food was my favorite part. For being a small restaurant, they sure do have the quality of one of the best restaurants I’ve been to.

Absolutely worth the wait! Place was packed and moving strong. Service was awesome, servers help everyone “not my table” does not happen here. Food was spot on for taste, kitchen staff knows how to create an amazing dinner experience. Need to get there for the weekend lunch and Sunday Brunch, food coma, oh and the drink menu is top notch. Will return often!

We arrived for the first time at Launch Kitchen with high expectations of our dinner with poor output. Our server Sarah was exceptional; however the overall experience was less then. Our first time here we had a round of drinks and a meal comped from our bill due to poor quality. I had to get up from our table to go to the bar to get drinks that we waited 30 minutes for. We were here for almost 3 hours and the place was not busy. We will try again for brunch - but overall - not a fan.

There was not a ton of people in the place, but the food took a really long time. I didn't want coleslaw on my pulled pork grilled cheese, but it was put on anyway. The sandwich was lacking moisture and flavor...I asked for BBQ sauce and the waitress said they were out. The fries are the standard crinkle kind. My partner got the coffee-rubbed burger, which was good. The waitress was super nice. I'd go again, but try something else on the menu.

Excellent service, great food and an all around fun atmosphere that you would feel comfortable taking either your partner to on a date or their parents for their anniversary dinner. Highly recommend a craft cocktail before that anniversary dinner though.

First time I ordered from here we checked for curbside-had to go in and get order. Food was fantastic!Second visit, extremely limited menu and disappointing but tried the pork tots. Pretty good. Not enough cheese.Third time, ordered online for Sunday dinner. Only TWO options but ok, I'll try. Knew better than to expect curbside so went in to get order. They. Were. Closed. The bartender of an adjacent business called the owner. He did run over really quick and refund my order (which takes days) but still, hungry people and no food. The owner said no one came to work today.I liked the food on the first visit, despite the disorganization. I was glad to have another decent restaurant and so close. But they are not reliable, not sure what will or won't be on the menu.Disappointed for so many reasons. First time it tasted pretty good! But not sure if three strikes will bring me back.

After hiking at Starved Rock State Park we had lunch at Launch Kitchen. The food and service was excellent! You should definitely check it out for lunch or dinner if you are in the area.

La Salle-Peru has become a destination for great food (and spirits), with Launch Kitchen my new favorite. This place is awesome. Great staff, nice space and the Sunday brunch was spectacular. The Caprese omelette was really good. I had heard Launch Kitchen was worth the drive, and it sure was. Will be back soon.

Great vibes and even better food. I had the Pork Tots -- I highly recommend this place. It is a well thought out menu and Eric, the owner is just so pleasant, you find yourself chatting with him longer than you expected. Definitely try this place, only about a 10 minute drive from Starved Rock too!
