4/5 stars for good reason. I cant say how much I love going here. I go multiple times a week at times. Its my favorite spot to get acai. However, I only give it 4 stars because of 2 major factors: time and food prep standards. It takes quite awhile to make most items on the menu, so if you have time to wait its a great option because the food is AWESOME!!! However while preparing meals, I have one major complaint: no gloves or masks. I normally would not mind no gloves or masks so long as hands are kept clean and washed prior. But Jeff does have a nasty habit of wiping his nose multiple times while preparing food bare handed, he also has coughed on my food or on his hands and continues to prepare. As well as snacks on extras while making the bowls (fruit or granola). This is very unprofessional or up to food handling standards. Please work on this area and you guys will remain at the top of this in our area. I love going here but that is enough to make me not want to come in again at times.. I get too grossed out watching. However, the restaurant itself is VERY clean and organized though. I cannot say enough good about this place otherwise.

I was in town visiting from Southern California in September and fortunately found this restaurant. The food was delicious ? and the owners wonderful. It's obvious that they love what they do. I had an acai bowl one day and went back the next for a black bean bowl, sweet potato fries and took a green juice to go. Amazing! Thank you for enhancing my trip!

Incredibly slow service. We ordered sandwiches and a smoothie and waited more than 25 minutes for a to-go order. The staff showed no sense of urgency and seemed to pay no mind to the fact that we were clearly needing to get going.

We drive 45 minutes from our home to get there if that tells you how good this place is. Acai bowl is not to be missed.
Many wonderful dishes and they are now open for breakfast too. ?
Sat outside on the patio in the ?
Half mile away is IM canal to walk it off in the woods and see historic barge canal boat pulled by donkeys. Abe or Martha Lincoln imitators narrate I-M canal tour.

Excellent healthy option when traveling through the area. So glad we stopped to grab lunch. My wife had the salmon tacos and she thought they were the best she’s ever had. I had the black bean burger and it was fantastic exactly how they made it. Everything was freshly made. We also got the blueberry smoothie and it was great as well. Definitely recommended!

My wife and I stop here quite often when we are in the LaSalle area. Lot of vegan choices and healthy juices! Have tried most of the vegan stuff. All has been great!
My favorite healthy place by far in the area to eat. Great options on the menu along with juice

Everything was delivered with care and love. The owner explained the ingredients for the waffle and was open to questions since my hubby is vegan. Great experience!

The food here was PHENOMENAL. The owners were also extremely helpful, looking up ingredients to accommodate a soy allergy (in a vegetarian restaurant) – and almost every dish was soy free! The house-made veggie burger was amazing, the ‘meaty’ nachos were delicious, and the ‘meat’ pizza was one of my favorite pizzas I have ever had. Amazing food, kind owners, good pricing – overall, this is one of my most favorite dining experiences I’ve had! Absolutely recommend!

Vegetarian options: For a person who is generally a meat eater and wanted to try something new with my significant other who is vegan; I can say I am truly Impressed not only by the food but by the hospitality and the comfort the people who run this establishment brought to us.

Delicious. The pizza was phenomenal. At first I didn't even believe it was gluten free. Let's be real. Perfectly crunchy without the weird doughy texture. The vegetables were actually perfectly sliced and not slimy. I wish they would have added a little bit more nutritional yeast and cashew cheese but otherwise it was literally perfect. The smoothie was also delicious. I got the mango with almond milk .It's sad that there's literally no other vegan places around here. I had to travel 38 minutes from Starved Rock but it was totally worth it. Very kind owners and honestly everything in there is delicious. I did not get sick and I am gluten-free and vegan. Thank you so much for providing health and wellness, especially with local products. We need more of people like this. Not everyone wants to consume greasy food after a nice hike. Namaste.
Side note:child friendly and super dang clean.
Very nice owners!! We talked about beet juice and the wonderful benefits!! I purchased the Blue Majik Lemonade, a Montain Doo-it (all cold-pressed)and a wheatgrass shot. Not sure why, but they mixed lemon in with the shot, which means it's less than 1oz. of Wheatgrass. Seems like great people serving a great community. Thanks a bunch!
