I grew up eating at the Hoagy House and when I moved to Olney I found myself craving it and making trips home just to get me a sandwich! I have turned my family and friends into Hoagy lovers not only for the sandwiches but their soups, cookies, and sweet tea is the best.
I have ordered sandwiches here twice now and both times my order has gotten to me wrong. I order a BLT with onion and pickle and both times they leave off the lettuce and tomato and ONLY put on onion and pickle. What is a BLT to this place? if I wanted a Bacon, Onion and Pickle sandwich I'd ask for a BOP and not a BLT.
I have loved Hoagy House since before we moved to Lawrenceville several years ago and we always tried to squeeze in a visit when we were in town, but my experience today blew me away! I’m a teacher and I was running late to get my lunch so I ordered online to make it a bit faster. I just needed to drop by the bank to pick up some cash. Easy peasy, right?
