This place is amazing! A very favorite place to go to as a child when my mom the late great Esther Collard 1958-2021, took me and the other 7 adopted kids to eat here. My favorite things to order was the pizza burger, the flies, the concretes, and the footlong hot dogs. It saddens me that Peoria Illinois doesn't have a place like this and every pizza burger I had sucks compared to y'all. I miss y'all! Y'all are forever my hometown! If anyone is confused, I lived here from 2002 to 2013. I miss Lawrenceville Illinois

Had to make an unplanned stop and found this little gem. Ended up staying in town for the night and didn't hesitate to go back for dinner. There staff are excellent. Very friendly as well. The blt was super good. Almost had it again for dinner, but the gentleman at the window suggested a burger I should try... unfortunately the name eludes me. The owner makes his own special seasoning for this burger. It was good, it usually has 2 patties... but I asked if possible with just one. Lol Just wish they were closer. 😊

Waited a long time for a tasteless pizza burger that had onions but no pepperoni. I've never known anyone to order an onion pizza but whatever. Prices were fair and fries were good but don't get the pizza burger. Bun was soaked and soggy with sauce and the cheese and onion slid off the sandwich as soon as I tried to eat it. Busy, people must like it but don't get the pizza burger unless you like tasteless onion burger soggy in bland sauce
I love the Drive In but the service is always terrible. I don't mind waiting a little bit for my food, but when I'm waiting 15 minutes in the window and haven't even been helped, I draw the line. The truck behind me in line, parked, went inside and was helped before me. I called the store from the drive thru to tell them this, and the manager kept telling me to calm down, mind you I was calm, just frustrated. This place should've shut down when they had the chance. Ruining their name.
Edit: Not to mention the additional 20 minutes they made me wait on my food. This was probably on purpose due to my phone call though.
