The wife and I took a wrong turn to Vincennes and wound up in charming Lawrenceville, where we gave Off the Square a visit. I chose the double cheese Smash Burger with the 618 sauce, which is the best sauce I have ever had on a burger. An incredible burger with those killer beef tallow fries! a five-star meal all the way! The wife did the serloin tips in a delicious butter garlic sauce, which were solid. When we find ourselves back in the area, we will definitely be a happy returning customer

Everything was GREAT---not just the food but the atmosphere and our waitress!!!
We went for lunch and ordered off the Brunch menu and the prices were right and we were filled to the brim when we left.

We've been there twice now on consecutive evenings as of this posting, which I hope shows how much we enjoyed our first visit. The service was nice and friendly. The food was good.
The first time there, I had the tenderloin sandwich with sweet potato fries, and my wife had their basic smash burger with sweet potato fries. Both were very good. The next night, I had the smash burger that has the onion ring and bbq sauce with tater tots ( I can't remember what it's called), and my wife had the fig jam bacon burger with fries. Again, both were very good. So far, I would recommend any of these items.
The restaurant atmosphere is quaint and it is a nice establishment. Not a ton of seating, but there's enough to not be small and crowded, nor not so much you're lost in the sea. Overall, I would recommend this place for either a nice dinner date or an evening to just hang out with friends/family and grab a decent meal with your favorite beverage of choice.

Best burger I've EVER HAD. I still dream about this place. Stopped in this place visiting my grandmother who lives just a block or two away. I currently reside in Nashville and I'm thinking of making another trip ASAP just to get another Oklahoma Star smash burger with the magical 618 sauce. The most unique taste that I have a very hard time pinning down how to explain it, and what the ingredients were. Please do yourself a favor and try this place, you may just have the best burger you've ever eaten.

We really enjoyed Cody Bobe’s restaurant right off the square in historic Lawrenceville! Right away we noticed the eclectic decor was warm and inviting complete with natural bricked walls and wood trim. There are lots of options on the menu and the smash burger with fried mushrooms was delicious as was the grilled cheese and fries. The fried pickles were great! The staff was friendly, responsive and I was introduced to the owner who took the time to speak with me. I highly recommend Off the Square!

The hand breaded pork tenderloin is excellent, but my wife's filet was out of this world. Get the cowboy butter with a steak.

We enjoy the quiet atmosphere. I know they have live entertainment some evenings, however we've never been able to go on those evenings.
Parking: Parking can be a problem at times but most of the time not a problem. I don't know if the one parking lot charges or not.
Kid-friendliness: My granddaughter really enjoys going there. We take her often. She loves the ice cream floats. She's also a smashburger girl.
