We twice had occasion to eat lunch here recently, and both times were outstanding. The food selection is remarkable, with many unique offerings that are well prepared, and the sheer number of things on the menu makes the decision difficult. I enjoyed the Buffalo Chicken wrap, which came with a delicious cup of soup and onion rings. I had their cheese omelette the second time, along with excellent hash browns. Both were excellent and consisted of large portions. Our grandson loved his huge chocolate chip pancakes. Everyone in our group of five remarked about the quality, service, and reasonable prices. Both of our servers were pleasant and helpful and really knew what they were doing. All agreed that we wished we had a place like this in our home towns. Le Roy is lucky to have Jack's.

Very cool atmosphere inside the restaurant and the staff are super friendly and helpful with the menu. The stuff French toast is really delicious and filling. I will definitely come back to this place for more impressive meals.

Wow, what a surprise the food here was not only plentiful but it was delicious. We stopped for an overnight stay at a nearby hotel after nearly 8 hours on the road. With that said, we were hungry. I had a chicken over pasta dish which came with a side. I ate everything including the potato soup side. It was fabulous. I did make room for dessert, cake with custard filling, that was excellent as well. So, if you are traveling I-74 and stop in Leroy, Jack's Cafe is a must visit!

We ate here for a dinner meal. Service was really great and so was the food. Spaghetti was good and a large portion, enough for two.

This is a second visit for us. The last visit was several years ago and since it was on our route we decided to have breakfast there again. A good choice. There was only one waitress (Holly V.) in the place but she provided excellent service. She served us water and coffee promptly and took our order. The food came out promptly and was prepared nicely. One individual had the meat lover's omelet. Another had biscuits and gravy, eggs over easy, and bacon. I had pancakes, two scrambled eggs, and bacon. We all thought the food was excellent as was the service. We have only had breakfast there and think this is an excellent place for breakfast. They also have several specials. Today they offered eggs, Benedict, with ham or salmon.

Friendly staff! Clean and welcoming! After a long day of driving, this was a nice restful place to eat. Hot beef and the hot turkey were good. The home made bread is marvelous!

Very down home - good country fried steak! Just what the 4 of us needed before we went back to HIE to get some sleep.

Stopped at Jacks for dinner while in the area again. We ordered the southwestern egg rolls again since they were so good the last time. They were once again very good. Meatloaf was dry and chewy but the gravy was the best part of the entire meal. Very good gravy, too bad it was on top of lumpy cold mashed taters and dry meatloaf. Our salads, appetizer and entre all came out at the same time. If you have read any of my other reviews that is one of my biggest pet peaves. Appetizer, salad then entre. Such a simple concept that is misunderstood at so many places.

We stopped here as we stayed the night in this small town. We sat on the patio. The ambiance was really nice with lighting, plants, and really good service! I chose the southwest salad. Really good! We had the southwest wraps for an appetizer. Those were really good too! Served with a condiment sauce to die for! Really nice experience!! We had a new server that was excellent!! Really attentive!

Almost didn’t eat here b/c both handicapped parking spots were full, and it was pouring rain. Ended up returning, and we are happy we did. Meal started with fresh bread. Soup came with the sandwiches. $2 extra for onion rings or fries. The onion rings were real (not chopped onions). The Italian beef with au jus was yummy after the server replaced my au jus. The first cup had a 1/4 inch of oil on top. Service was attentive without being intrusive. It’s a huge restaurant, and somewhat busy, but our food came out quickly. They seemed to handle a lot of carry out orders. We will return next time we are in the area.
